Haven't been since I was child, came for a child's birthday party. But what a wonderful cute, rustic, slightly run down little place. Reasonable food and drink prices, clean toilets and lots of hand washing facilities, the soft play is big and well maintained. The staff were really really friendly and talkative and you could tell that they really enjoy there job. The animals were lovely, the only things that could be improved was more tables in the soft play, and the go karts need some TCL.
We stayed here for a night camping and then went in the farm the next day. The campsite toilets were always very clean and there’s a lot of space so you can choose your own pitch. Everyone we met was so friendly, from the lady we met when we booked in, to the girls organizing the animal activities to the man who took us on the tractor ride. It was a fun day out with kids and it brought back memories from when I was a child
Lovely little farm with enough to fill a morning on a sunny day. Lambs and calves to feed, guinea pigs to cuddle and a tractor ride too. Nice cafe inside a great little soft-play area where parents can have a coffee and still keep an eye on the children.
A lovely little activity farm, with well spaced interactions throughout the day. All the staff were friendly and kind to the children, and clearly enjoyed their jobs. An all-round lovely visit.
Initially we were not sure if it was good value for money but after some time spent within the grounds the place grew on us. 3.5 to 4 stars this time but I personally think there is massive room for improvement. Invest a bit in go-carts and update website online, improve on number of guinea pigs and rabbits and perhaps upgrade the tractor area for kiddies and you will have plenty of loyal customers visiting and re-visiting. All the best!
This is a great site that is dog friendly. We used this as a base and we were able to do several day trips around Dorset. There are toilets and shower cubicles that require a token onsite. Token is available at reception. The toilets and showers were cleaned everyday. Dish washing facility and rubbish receptacle. There is loads of space in the field to chose where you want to pitch up. There is a cafe and small shop onsite should you run out of anything. Very friendly owners and would return again. #Momentsofoutdoors
Went camping here and got a puncture from a large rock on the path up. Other than that good showers and ground was firm even after rain. Not perfectly flat but fine. Very quiet except for morning animals.
A lovely little place. A big soft play area with a great area to meet the animals. Sadly the diggers and electric go karts are extra with card payment on the side no mention of this online. The pedal power go karts are a little run down and are in need of some TLC the track is also in need of leveling and a new surface, the kids still had fun with a helping push on the bumpy sections. Over all it's a nice little place. With some TLC it could be an amazing place for the kids. I Feel online booking and an option to purchase a loyalty card online would benefit the business. Over all the kids had hrs of fun and it was great watching the animals. I would visit again for sure.
Love this place - nice size for a toddler with loads to do and the membership card scheme is great if you're a regular visitor. My 22 month old can already ask to go to "putayyyke soft play" he's a huge fan!
Very expensive for what it is, needs updating, quite basic and random placed items outside , floor and ceiling needs insulation in the play area as it was colder inside than outside, we went when there was no heating . We did get told about this on arrival but after an hours drive for our daughter's b day we thought we would risk it. Very cold though and no real attempts to rectify the issue. Maybe take the hit and call out a professional to have a look at the issue . Or update the heating maybe like everything else.
