Great location, facilities and staff. Competitive pay monthly prices with classes included. Available PT sessions, toilets, changing rooms, lockers and free parking. Only downside is getting through to online customer services if you have issues with your membership as it is call service. But signing up and starting is easy.

It's highly impersonal. No-one answered the keypad entry - the cleaner tried to help me gain entry to enquire about membership but no assistance to be found anywhere! Akin to scanning yr own supermarket shopping. On the plus side, ample parking.

When I entered the gym, I keyed my pin in but it only opened the first cubicle door but wouldn't let me through the other. I pressed the buzzer and no one came to the door. A personal trainer who was near to the door came and stated that he was a 'personal trainer and he is doing something and said just call customer services. Even though I explained to him that my pin had worked but it just didnt let me through the second door, he closed the door and dint not care that he had left me outside of the gym because the doora wouldn't work His manner was rude and unapologetic and dismissed the fact that I was left outside. While none of the other PT's came to the door at all! Very very very poor service and no manners at all from this particular personal trainer at the Sutton Coldfield gym!

I arrived at the gym due to my usual gym being closed. On my entry I was fortunate to be greated my the manager who appeared very and welcoming. I explained my situation and she was very nice. She showed me to where the changing room was and then left. That was the nice part. What I found next was pretty awful. The weights were all in the wrong place. The floor was littered with rubbish. It looked shabby. A person who worked at the gym came into the room looked at the mess and signed a form to say that it looked clean and ok. With that he left. I was horrified and too dumbstruck to do or say anything. He did a little better later. He put one weight away. Fair enough it was in the wrong place but it was better than his previous attempt. I spent more time looking for weights I wanted than the workout I'd gone in there for. The rest of the gym looked pretty decent. I went and used a treadmill. The cardio rooms seemed ok. As I was leaving the person who found it difficult to do his job was in the changing room. I believe he he went in to check it was clean. It wasn't; but I don't believe it's in his job description to clean and he certainly wasn't going to clean it either. It's a shame because the gym manager was really nice. She's just let down by the people that she employs.
