Good gym if you’re under 20 and want social club vibes.nnEquipment is just ok, but it’s dated and pretty basic over all quite dirty. Expect groups of 4-8 19 year olds huddled round the equipment with the odd cheering or screaming…nnIt’s not a reflection of the staff as I’m not sure how they could control/monitor this. And all other pure gyms I’ve been to have been great, but, if you want it use a gym to workout, I would recommend going elsewhere…
New member to this gym so these are my initial impressions. While it is small it does have everything you would need and at quiet times you don’t have issues doing your workouts. What lets it down is the cleanliness. The men’s changing rooms are disgusting. They must get 0 attention from the staff which is a shame because it makes you not want to use all facilities you pay for. Despite being a ‘budget’ gym, the standard of cleanliness should still have a certain standard which they are lacking
PureGym Twickenham offers an excellent lineup of classes. The instructors are professional and incredibly supportive, motivating you to achieve your personal best. I recently completed a box fit class taught by Omar, and it left me breathless but also feeling fantastic. Instructors Lee, Daniel, and the entire team are amazing!
Sorry, as much as I love using this gym. I've had to remove a star from my rating due to a couple of factors 1 affecting the other, so technically 1 big factor. Unfortunately, there's only 1 bench press in the gym and it's in use myna bunch of teenagers leaving weights all over the place. I note that this happens when they bring the bench to the Squat rack as well. Last night, the bench was simply left on the platform with no consideration to move it back where they got it from.
I have been going to this gym for a few months now. The equipment is quite dusty, the floor is very dirty most days, and the ladies’ dressing room has a very, very bad smell every day I think that should be checked, as it may be a pipe issue. Also, last Sunday I couldn’t use the loo, as both were extremely dirty and messy. Teenagers crowd around the equipment for a very long time, making it hard for people who are fitting their training into a tight schedule. Giving 3 stars as the staff have always been very nice, but the cleaning and enforcement of not taking ages on equipment need to improve.
