Wanted to checkout the gym before I join in but instead waited outside for half and hour pressing the call for assistant button I also told people who were going in if they can call somebody for me but nobody came so I got tired of waiting and joined the gym through the computers outside. I went up and saw there was a ladies only area which is completely understandable but than i saw all the machines, equipments and benches so upclose and uptight. I was trying use some dumbbells and the guy next to me doing bench press without any support was constantly bothering me cause we were so close to come in contact and if I wasn't aware of it there could have been an accident. I'm only saying this so this gym will improve in future and IDK how big of the ladies area is but we are in 2018 come-on!!

Every PureGym I have been to is okay rather than exceptional. However this is one of the worst gyms I have been to in my life, mostly - but not exclusively - because of the members. Many of the people that use this gym have low levels of personal hygiene. It consistently smells of excessive body odour and more often than not there is faeces on the toilet seat, which I can only assume is from people crouching on top of the toilet rather than sitting on it. I'm sure this is a cultural practice but either way it is disgusting. The vast majority of people do not return their weights. People wear work clothing, including boots and also carry their bags into the weight section. I have witnessed some people using their own speakers to play music by the free weights, and this music has always been full of swearing and derogatory terms for women. There is also a massive problem with people smoking cannabis by the entrance and rolling cannabis inside the changing rooms which causes the gym to smell like illegal drugs. I have also been called "white boy" by a group of Asian men, which I would consider racism. There is a massive culture at this gym for disrespect and disregard of the rules and on top of all of that, the manager(s)/owner(s) also do not enforce the rules. I would like to make it very clear that there is not a single exaggeration in this review, if the manager(s)/owner(s) watched the cameras for even 5 minutes they would have enough evidence to ban multiple people.

Fairly spacious gym. Like any other gym tends to be quite busy after 4pm. Showers could do with more regular cleaning.

Edited:( I just wanted to add to my review as I've been attending more frequently and my opinion has only gone down hill since my first review. The whole place is a mess to use, the free weights are never organised or in the right place. The staff seem to pay no attention to anything that is happening in the facility and never enforce any rules.) The gym is a nice space and plenty of equipment but has decreased in quality recently. The off peak hours have been vastly reduced from what they were and are now very restrcitive. The old stretching area that was secluded is now occupied by rowing machines as the staff were too lazy to simply ask people not to take weights up there and it was damaging the floor. I've never seen the staff ever ask members to return equipment or to use it in appropriate areas. The gym could be a lot nicer if the staff were not just there to teach classes but also to ensure equipment was used properly. As a result the whole gym has suffered and often the weight area is a total mess and weights are difficult to find.

Is a Big Gym, but inside is not a lot of space, 2 floors buildong but only on one floor is gym. Plenty of people at every time of day. Good is that is cheap.
