I recently visited PureGym with my wife, and we had a disappointing experience with one of the personal trainers. When my wife had a question about a workout, the trainer simply ignored her and said he couldn't explain because he was training someone else. Even though he was working with another person, he still had the time to quickly address her query or show her the correct workout. Unfortunately, he chose not to do that.  If trainers at PureGym behave this way, it may drive members to seek out other gyms where they feel respected and supported. Personal trainers should be respectful and polite to all members, offering guidance when needed rather than just showing off or focusing on a select few. I hope the management at PureGym addresses this issue and ensures that trainers are properly trained to assist all members with their fitness needs.

Good gym, unless you have to use the change rooms.  Positive: They make it easy to visit and charge reasonable short term rates. Everything is done online and it’s quick. I use the gym only when in Canary Wharf for work. The gym floor is spacious and has good equipment.  Negative: The most filthy gym change room I’ve experienced. It smells like a No.2, except in the shower stalls, where the intense smell of No.1 miraculously overpowers the No.2 smell. You actually feel more dirty after a shower here. This time round they put up a sign acknowledging it, however it’s been like this for at least 1 year.

Decent gym with regards to equipment. Members don't tend to put their weights away when they're finished with them so you have to search for stuff sometimes. Classes are ok, but often have instructors arriving a minute or two after the starting time - they should be there a couple minutes early to assist any newcomers so the class can start on time. Can be a little messy when coming in the morning, but they do tidy up a few times during the week. Afternoon has been too busy to train the few times I tried, so come early morning now and it's not often you have to wait for equipment. Overall it's ok.  Could use more lockers in the front of the gym for people not wanting to use the lockers, which have been broken into I believe. They did redo the changing rooms in 2023 I think and they sorted the drainage issue as far as I know.

The gym itself is a very well equipped gym. It looks great and really fits the area it’s in. It’s very spacious on the ground floor, but first and minus one floor is a little on the right side due to its number of equipment. The changing rooms are spacious too and the gym is kept clean.  However, there is a down side to me personally. I drive everywhere so parking for this gym could have been handy. The nearest free parking is after 6:30pm and is 15mins walk away. They do have a 24hr payed car park 1 minute away though. Also it does get busy after 6pm which is expected in most gyms, but it was too busy for my liking. The changing rooms have two size lockers. I use the bigger size one which they only had a handful of, and I resulted in squeezing all my stuff into the smaller locker.  But in general, I can not knock the gym itself. Credit is due where it is deserved, and the points I made was a negative point for myself and not all.

Been going to the gym for over 6 years now, a decent gym. Sometimes can take a while to sort out broken equipment and the drinks machine not having all the flavours.  Huge shoutout to Fares though - a very friendly and approachable member of staff, his spin classes are great too- good music and lots of calories burned. A great asset to the PGCW team

Unfortunately this particular gym doesn't seem up to the standards of other gyms of the same brand I have been. The machines are warn out and clearly need maintenance see photos, the main door has been cracked for months now repaired with some tape, the vending machines are opinionated. The changing rooms and the area around them are also often smelly. The staff seems to be hovering around without achieving much. This is a message to management: please take a grip on the situation, at the moment the basics are not covered adequately, as a customer I feel I should get move value. Thanks

Decent Puregym. Not very focused on heavy lifting. Most members prefer standard fitness/bodybuilding workouts. The equipment and atmosphere reflects this preference

Miserable experience, average facilities; NOT  THAT AFFORDABLE, an entire month at my home gym costs as much as a day pass, you’d think with the money they save employing ZERO HUMANS they should have top notch equipment and facilities; the free weights were not reracked apprpriately and were all mixed up

I purchased a day pass to try out this gym before buying membership. I was charged and received a receipt to my email address, but not a PIN. I can’t speak to a human to help me, only bots and they say my question will be dealt with ‘in the next 12hrs’, which is after I wanted to use the gym.  What a scam.

DO NOT BUY THE PURE GYM PADLOCK!!!!!  NO HELP FROM PURE GYM MANAGEMENT. ALL VALUABLES REMOVED AND STOLEN FROM LOCKERS WITH PURE GYM LOCKS. I went to the gym late last night and had all my things removed and moved to the second section of the lockers and the lock was stolen. Many other gym goers had their wallets and valuables stolen. See images of all the lockers with pure gym locks opened. Buy a decent lock NOT A PURE GYM LOCK. I called the pure gym emergency number and they did nothing. By a 6-7mm shackle high security lock from Amazon.
