Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel looks like a castle and has a lovely, peaceful garden area between the main hotel and the lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I liked the continental breakfast they offered. We stayed in February and our room was kept at a comfortable temperature. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong, and hot water was plentiful.nnI have no idea where they came from, and didn't see any others during my long walks in and around Swanage, but there were two deer wandering around the hotel grounds, which we watched from our room window.nnThanks to the hotel staff and management for a lovely stay.
What fun if you like a bit of architecture and history. Took a minute to figure out the shower don't use the bath taps!. Great beds and water pressure our are two must-haves and were spot on. Room 18 was a bit of a walk-up but had loads of space, gowns and views. What's not to like.
We had a happy and memorable two-night stay in a Louisa Lodge room with a balcony and sea view. The view was particularly impressive. A charming hotel in beautiful grounds run by a lovely team made for a magical weekend. Thank you very much!
Really lovely hotel with all important comfortable beds. It looks like a castle, has very friendly and welcoming staff and a very pretty garden - too wet to sit in when we went, but lovely to walk through. The photo of the deer was the view from our window on arrival!
We love Purbeck House Hotel. It might not be the swankiest Dorset hotel, but it’s loaded with charm, history and friendly accommodating staff, and a great location too. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Back again next year for sure. Thanks PHH.
