Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend Pentland View at Pumpherston Golf Club for wedding services! Stuart was full of false promises! Without going into to much detail we did try and contact to have our complaints resolved however we were replied with pathetic excuses. We were double booked and had to change our date we did choose to do this, but we were suppose to receive complimentary Prosecco because of this and unfortunately we were charged and had to request a refund that we thankfully did get back. We were refused access to the members bar after we were told we would be allowed to use, because of this we had to stand in the foyer where we had to request chairs for our guests that were brought out and left in a stack and had to again ask for them to be unstacked. Stuart asked us if we would like the golf buggies to take us to the pond for photos that we greatly appreciated but unfortunately they were running 10 minutes late, so we walked over hoping they would be ready to take us back by the time we got there but Stuart cancelled them without communicating with us if we still wanted them. Upon booking Stuart mentioned that the hall holds 120 but that they have had 150 guests before, so naturally we invited up to that number as why else would this be mentioned if this was not allowed‍. I was then threatened on the phone just over 1 week to go after we paid out full balance that if more that 126 our final numbers were to show up they would be refused entry and if the bar staff could not keep up with demand they would CANCEL our wedding and SEND US HOME. This resulted in having 2 men on the door counting our guests like bouncers at a night club. A member of the bar staff phoned a family member not attending the wedding to ask questions about one of my guests to ask if she was of legal age to order drinks at the bar after she refused her and came up to her table threatening to throw her out. I understand they have a law to follow and have the right to refuse anyone alcohol who is under age or may be buying for someone under age but there was no reason to phone anyone asking questions about any of our guests attending, just refuse to serve them and leave it at that. As mentioned above we were unfortunately just replied to with excuses and no sincere apology. Sadly this caused us a lot of unnecessary stress and will always be remembered. I understand things happen and mistakes are made however there was no responsibility taken with just excuses and pointing the blame else where. I will sadly always remember how we were treated and how this effected our day.

Had funeral wake here staff were very nice couldn't have been more helpful whilst arranging it. Food was very nice and freshly made highly reccomend
had a great meal yesterday, grand daughter loves the fish coujons and grandson said macaroni was ace, friendly staff and food piping hot and delicious, would recommend if you havent been before.
We attended a wedding here, buffet food was excellent and seating was spacious and comfortable, bar prices were reasonable.
Was there for a function. The suite is fine with nice views over the golf course and hills. Staff were friendly and the buffet was good!
What a lovely building....food was great. A little bit bare but that's ok. Btw the toilets are fab.
Course is in fine condition. Well manicured. Great variety of holes. Friendly welcome from both staff and members. Had lunch and food was excellent. Will play again. Reasonable green fees. Highly recommend.
12 of us enjoyed lunch today. Waiting staff very professional. Definitely recommend the two courses for £14.00.
Very friendly, great course, some real character holes. A must play course!
