Would never use Pumaspeed ever again.nnFirstly Communication is shocking between the team. No one answers the phone, emails are responded to days/weeks after being sent. I was not told when my car was ready for collection I had to ring multiple times.nnI asked for my stock exhaust back so the car can be returned to stock and this was not communicated, it was left outside apparently and someone took it. A member of staff then told me that I never told anyone I wanted it back which is a complete lie. I still don’t have a stock exhaust or the money for a replacement a month later.nnSecondary, I had a GPF Valved exhaust fitted and my OEM valve motor magically stopped working the moment I left them, had to pay another £120 for it to be replaced. This was also fitted without my consent so I had a lovely bill when I went to pick up my car.nnLastly, my locking wheel nut was never put back in my car. I took my car to another garage and they couldn’t start the work on the car because these clowns had it sat in their garage. I asked for some help to get the locking delivered but was pretty much laughed at down the phone and was ignored yet again by email.nnSpent over £1.1k and felt like I’d just walked off the street and wasted their time.nnLearn some customer service skills because you are a joke. Review will be edited once I have an exhaust as promised weeks ago back.nnEDIT again: still waiting for an exhaust replacement a year later Avoid avoid avoid. These guys are serious jokers. Lovely to see other people also have issues with these cowboys, AVOID.
Unfortunately Pumaspeed are not a business that I would recommend using.nnAfter a little bit of back and forth that was only resolved by messaging the managing director on Facebook of all things. Finally they agreed to fully refund an online purchase as it was returned within 14 days.nnI had to fight so hard just to get them to follow the guidance from trading standards on distance sales. I understand that changes of mind by customers are not ideal. But to try and actively charge a consumer fees outside of what the law allows is just not acceptable.nnI cannot believe the level of dismissive, disrespectful and belligerent behaviour exhibited by the shop staff. It’s sad to see a business engaging in such rude practices.nnI urge you to read the negative reviews of this company and purchase from another supplier. DreamScience, Mountune, Car Enhancements UK and EBay etc. Pumaspeed is a business that I wouldn’t wish to deal with ever again.nnIt’s a shame, because the products are really really good! The brand has done loads of cool stuff in the Fast Ford world. But they are fundamentally let down by an archaic mindset and disrespectful attitude.
I made a big purchase of £16000 in April 2022 and ever since i have had nothing but problems with everything.nI have had to replace almost every so far that they have touched and as I have replace parts i have found out the parts isnt even what I had ordered in the first place. I have had to spend additional £4000-5000 in parts and labor replacing and fixing everything they have fitted.nnI Had paid for an extreme clutch kit for £1500 and have had there pumaspeed clutch that cost £400 instead, also without knowing they hadn't replaced the slave cylinder or flywheel which cause it to fail. I tried going through warranty as it was covered by extreme, but it was made so difficult I had no other choice but to purchase a new clutch from another dealernnI was Ment to have a RS uprated hpfp turns out it is just a standard pump that has failed after 18 months of normal use.nnThe turbo was sold to me that they would be able to remap the car with maxd out stage 4 but after the work was carried out I was informed they could not map it and it was never offered to me even tho maxd did offer it.nThe cams are unknown but do not seem to fit the profile I had specified when making the order.nnI have had to have a gearbox rebuild because the gearbox was filled with the wrong fluid and had prematurely worn out all the Syncros luckily not causing any damage to the gears themselvesnnI made my order because they was welcoming and seemed knowledgeable about what I wanted to do with the car. The only thing that has worked well is the built engine that was built by devil devlopements.
Had a stage 3 set up after a kid fitting the hardware leaving most intercooler pipes loose ,they are popping off at boost .not to mention the x48r turbo sounds like an old kettle whistling while you drive ,was better off throwing 2k in the bin,had to take car to Colin performance and had a proper job done.nfitting the s280 turbo and maps .running as it should .avoid this back street grease monkeys.
Very happy with Pumaspeed, their service is top notch and they answered all queries I had regarding part. Shipping was amazingly fast considering I live in NZ.nKeep it up Pumaspeed good service is hard to find. Will definitely be getting more product.nPurchase: Mk2 Ford Focus ST225 Scorpion Decat exhaust.
