Beautiful and quiet place to spend time. Usually water sports like canoeing, fishing etc are open but in Covid times it is closed. But it is a good place to spend some calm time.
Lovely in the Summer but not so good when the weather is bad. Will be better when it opens up fully again. Lots of seating/picnic benches. BBQ areas dotted around. Mini railway for the kiddies. Cafe/Ice cream. Play area. Mini zip wire. Lovely walk around the lake.
Lovely walk round. Once round is not too far for little legs. Cafe serves really nice hot food and drinks. Dog friendly. Lots of ducks and geese to feed. Children's play park which is now much better since they removed the sand floor.
Great place for a walk and to see the birds. Very helpful staff in the cafe as well. Like the idea of a hose pipe for swilling the dogs feet off at the end of your walk
A very pleasant day out. My time there consisted of relaxing in an easy chair near the lake. The walk is very pleasant if a little breezy. Around the lake there are various exercise stations. The parking was plentiful and whilst not always, on this occasion was free. Sandal Castle is also close by and well worth a visit.
Lovely scenic walk. Plenty of resting seats. Good for walking dogs. Plenty of hides for bird spotters. Cafe and toilets. Eat out on benches. Lovely kids play area
Great place for all the family. Brilliant for dogs, a nice easy walk. We'll kept.
Just loved it. I was visiting from Spain and couldn't believe the UK equipped parks like this so well. Opened my eyes. Super dog friendly, water, rinse areas poo disposal in fact couldn't fault it. Absolutely fantastic, catering for everything and everyone.
