Can't miss out on a visit to Puffing Billy. Great breakfasts, equally great lunches and the scones are excellent too. Plenty of walks and bike rides from here as well, whether it's a very quick amble to Torrington Common for an ice cream and play area or an epic trek along the Tarka Trail...Food: 5/5
Lovely little cafe with a great atmosphere. The food was nice and freshly made and sensibily priced. It is located right next to the Tarka Trail in an old railway platform rooms. The cafe has its own parking lot with ample more at the back and is also accessible for wheelchair users. Nearby activities: Tarka Trail, Dartinton Glass Factory, RHS gardens
Lovely little cafe on the tarka trail. My only downfall was, unfortunately, my jacket potato was pretty much under cooked and still had the raw taste and crunch. The chips and the other jacket potato we couldn't fault were definitely enjoyed by the rest of the family. Coffee was also very enjoyable Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available
Fantastic little Gem nestled within the North Devon hills close to the coast and right on the Tarka Trail with lots to explore. Excellent food and amazing coffee. Jade, Claire and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly with nothing too much trouble. Go here now! A lovely space to stop off whilst on the tarka trail, it has parking and a massive bike hire which has all types of bikes including tagalongs it also has benches and you can buy drinks and ice creams for a nice treat whilst cycling along. I would strongly recommend stopping off here if you are riding on the tarka trail or even if you are cycling in the area. Dietary restrictions: Ice creams cover most, but unsure if they have vegan ice cream

Tried getting a table for two weeks and tried booking. Busy. Busy busy. So must be good. But not tried. We're local and struggling to get a table. Totally plan ahead of your set on going.
Visited last year and made sure we came again this year whilst in the area. Great service food and atmosphere and dog friendly. Perfect
Great place for a stop on the tarka trail. Great service, food and drink. Shame the power went off on the middle of a Sunday lunch time but they handled it really well. Definitely going back
