Absolutely gorgeous meal. I had the slow cooked ox cheek, beautifully cooked and rich flavours throughout. Two of us sat down for a quick meal over Christmas without a booking, we were seated immediately and service was great.Service: 5/5
My Wife and I have just had a meal here. The food and service were amazing. If the Jerk Haddock is still on the specials I'd highly recommend it! Lovely freshly prepared food and great service. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates good food
Had a lovely meal with a large family group, kids to grandparents and all catered for. Also a special thanks as one grandparent struggles with food due to having had a stroke so can only eat plain "simple" food, no problem at all for Puckersley team and importantly, no fuss at all, brilliant and thank you. Overall, food really very good, service excellent, lovely atmosphere and we had a lovely evening. Many thanks.
Went out on a Christmas do with friends. Food was delicious and drink was plentiful. Have marked down for confusion over the bill. Other than that would recomend. Pay particular notice to the ladies behind the bar. Very cheeky and alot of fun. Thanks for a good night
Dissappointing! From the outside, it looks like a decent local pub. However, the food was below average for an "award winning pub." And the only thing that was high was the prices! The seating in the booths were stained, and so were some table seatings, so I'm not sure what sort of places they were up against in that competition, but the standards must have been pretty low to come out as the winner. Overall, I think there are better pubs within the area that are cleaner, more affordable, and serve a better standard or food.
Went at the weekend for my birthday meal and it was absolutely amazing ! The food was the best food I've ever tasted and I've never met such lovely amazing staff. Gabby, Lydia and Leanna were just fabulous. They couldn't do enough for us and were so so soooo lovely. Will definitely be returning it's the best experience eating out I've ever had. They even brought over a desert with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much everyone
Went in on New Year’s Day for a couple of pints and food, service was excellent as was the lunch. We only visit once or twice a year but it’s always excellent!
My husband and I have been here a few times and the food has always been on par, that is until today, the food wasn't great, I don't know if it's a different chef or if the chef had a falling out with their partner but the triple cooked chips had a weird taste to them, the apple crumble was very watery inside and the sticky toffee pudding was hard at the bottom unfortunately. The staff were as friendly and polite as ever.
Delightful pub, the Lees Bitter was spot on, also the Korean BBQ bellypork was an excellent bar snack.. don't know when I will get the chance to visit again as from Nottingham but noted as a great place to find again..Service: 5/5
Ho boy, the food was fabulous I had rag pudding, but way to much for me to eat, I did eat it all, but then I had no room for deserts.
