I've spent many a gin fuelled afternoon here. If you like your gin, I recommend this place highly as they serve 24 types of him all with different mixers which go down well. They also have good selection of craft beer and change the pumps regularly. The burgers here (even the vegetarian) are some of the best I've had. Thoroughly recommend the Farhouse burger which has bacon and a ducks egg. The bar itself is also nice and there's a fairly large garden area. There is a hostel above so if you stay late, you might bump into some travellers trying to relax which you may either love or hate. Would really recommend trying this place for beers and burgers with a handful of mates

Don't know if this still counts, but I stayed here when I was in London back in 2012. I had an absolute wonderful experience here. Staff was so friendly and everything was tidy. Met wonderful people also staying at this establishment and attractions are walkable from this location. I would definitely stay again.

Was probably the worst hostel I stayed in when I traveled across Europe. The staff is beyond nice and the pub itself is good, but the rooms are grimey and humid. The heat was turned way up throughout the hostel rooms so everyone slept half-naked and I woke up in a pool of sweat. I was there in the winter too, so it wasn't because it was warm outside. There is no room in the bedrooms. You are crammed in like sardines. The bathrooms are very basic and a little old. You have to share two bathrooms among a bunch of people, so it's difficult to find time to shower. There are no surfaces to put your things when getting ready. The bathroom is just a toilet, a sink, and a shower. This was the most expensive hostel I stayed in when I was in Europe and it was the crappiest. I think they could benefit from a renovation and making the hostel more comfortable for its guests.

*Can management please remove the photos that don’t represent what the hostel looks like? I find that very rude for people looking to stay here. There are no padded outdoor tables, just around five large picnic tables. There is no pool table. Some of the bar/restaurant pictures are not correct.* I paid around 20£ a night for the 12-person dorm. For this price, I don’t think you get what you pay for. The two toilet stalls that everyone shares are just next to the showers and didn’t give me any feeling of privacy. One of the toilets has an annoying folding door with a hook and the other had a huge puddle in it for at least a whole day. The showers were okay and water was good. There was one shower in my room, as well. The walls and ceiling really need to be cleaned in the bathroom area. The room I was in was too hot. It was better when the windows were open. Can’t imagine how it might be in the summer. One of the nights I was there some bar patrons were yell-talking so loud I thought they were in the backyard which my room was facing, but because they were just outside the bar, the staff couldn’t do anything and the people in my room doing the hostel huff-and-puff because they couldn’t sleep just had to wait for them to leave. What bothered me most is that there is no inside area just for hostel guests. I came back from a long day on a Saturday night and found the restaurant almost or completely full. Not wanting to rest at a small table in a restaurant atmosphere meant I could sit outside in the cold or go straight to my bed, as there is nothing in my room but beds and a little space to get to your bed. I think you could find better nearby. Two stars are for great location in underground Zone 1 near a lot of cool sites and for really friendly staff.

Wow what a great find. The food is amazing. Atmosphere is so chilled out. And the staff are brilliant. Had such a nice time. The manager of this place should be very proud of what they can do. Will be back next week and bring some friends.
