My wife has visited Proudfoot's on several occasions and found their service and prices excellent. However, on the last occasion one of the podiatrists was a bit over zealous with the scalpel and sliced down the side of her toe. Having hobbled about for a couple of days and complaining of the pain and seeing that the cut was now weeping she contacted Proudfoot and asked to see someone asap. It was suggested the podiatrist might be able to see her tomorrow some time or else for a few minutes before she went off to do house calls at lunchtime. This time did not suit my wife (I have cancer and shes my carer and she had to take me for a medical appointment). The podiatrist implied that it couldn't be that bad if I wasn't able to see her when she suggested! . Up to this point my wife has found the service excellent here but obviously not so good when things go wrong!! This is an appalling way to treat someone when they have been injured by the carelessness of the person they're being treated By and for that reason would definitely not recommend this service.
