A pretty good selection of cookware and kitchen bits. Some of them really seem to be silly little gadgets for gadgets sake, but others are really useful. It would be nicer if they had more in the way of enamelled stuff than one roasting dish and three sizes of pie dish. But it’s okay in there

My partner and I went in for a new can opener and we saw a knife set that we liked. We were clearly having a conversation whether to buy it or not and how to sharpen them as we did not know about ceramic knives. Unfortunately the staff were too interested in having a conversation between themselves rather than talking to the customers in store. All we got was a hello when entering the store and the usual stuff when we made our purchase. We decided not to buy yhe knife set as I did not feel like the staff were approachable or even wanting to answer our questions about the products.

I would regard our visit to ProCook Bridgend as a positive one. The staff member who served us was very helpful without being pushy. The shop appeared to be well stocked but not cluttered as some other shops are. All in all we have found our purchases very well made and have performed well. We will continue to visit for all of our kitchen equipment needs.

We called in to ProCook at Bridgend recently and were delighted to find bone china mugs at a fraction of the price elsewhere. We bought 8 and are very pleased with them as they are very high quality and do not get stained by tea or coffee. Will be going back for more soon.

Whenever we visit McArthur Glen our first stop is always Procook. We are both very accomplished cooks although I no longer spend very much time in the kitchen. We are insistent on having the highest quality knives and certain other implements. We always browse the shop but have to be very conscious of what we spend as we are retired and have a limited budget. I must admit we would love to win £250 to spend and would have no problem at all spending the money on the lovely array of kitchen goodies in the shop.
