First time using this type of service. Prolawn has visited the garden informed me of the options and what benifits each service can offer, very helpful. The first treatment of weed killer etc was evident after 2 days, really looking forward to seeing the transformation of the lawn.
Don't deal with this 'Cowboy' company, They are arrogant and rip you off. The General manager Sean Scott is unapproachable and takes the blame for absolutely nothing. They are literally stealing money from me. Would not refund for work not undertaken. BEWARE. This is the 'result of 10 months into their GOLD service., at a cost of £420.00 for a very small lawn. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT, AND RIP-OFF MERCHANTS.
My lawn has been covered with moss for years and all my efforts to eradicate it has failed. As a last resort I signed up for the ProLawn gold package. After 3 visits I’m really impressed with the service. The technicians have been excellent. William and Paul on the second visit and Stewart on the third were friendly hard working gents of the highest order. My next appointment is due early next month and I’m hoping that any one of those technicians will be returning. Thank you for an excellent, friendly service
Have used this company for 2 years to treat our lawn. Called them out in May to give our lawn a boost. They obviously used too strong materials which has ruined both our front and back lawn leaving the lawn burnt and bare. Despite weeks of calls and emails they are refusing to do anything to rectify this. Further to your response, you did after many emails and phone conversations over 7 weeks , offer to come and do further work to repair our lawn at a cost of £254 . You also advised that a different product had been used than on previous visits. You agreed that the technician who completed the work should have advised prior to the treatment that further, more expensive corrective work would be required. We have used your services several times previously over the last 2 years without the disastrous results that we see now. What we requested was that our lawn be fertilised not killed.
Work carried out has been good since starting with Pro Lawn Ltd a year ago but customer service is woeful. Technician’s don’t turn up for appointments and no contact is made to advise of this. It’s then left to me to chase up to reorganise. That happened on several occasions. I’m at least a month overdue for latest appointment and despite emailing and calling only got voicemail so left a message no one has bothered to respond. Frankly, if they can’t be bothered, why should I. I’ll find another provider which is a shame given the work is good when they do show up but I really do value and expect much better customer service.
UPDATE A return visit is scheduled for tomorrow for reseeding and raking out of any moss beforehand. Perhaps my expectations have been unreasonable regards results following treatment, scarifying and seeding almost 5 weeks ago. Despite following the aftercare instructions there is poor growth with a large amount of moss still visible, some of which is dead. Areas are completely bald. I had expected a return visit by now 2 or 3 weeks after treatment is stated but on contacting the team during week 5 I’ve been instructed to continue with watering daily for a further 2 weeks and they will visit again after 2 weeks. So let me just clarify, no return visit proposed until after almost 7 weeks. I’m deeply disappointed and sadly regret making full payment before reviewing the results. Awaiting a call from the technical person.
Many thanks to Martin and his team. If we could…. we would give them 10 stars!! From day one we have had excellent service. Came when they said they would….did what they said they would do….and all workers a credit to Pro Lawn. Brushed up… cleaned up… Brilliant!!! We are absolutely delighted with the transformation of our lawns. We are now signing up for the annual care package which we think is excellent value for all the treatments Pro Lawn will administer over the next twelve months. Again…thank you Martin and team. Do not get involved with Pro Lawn, rather than letting someone cancel service due to not being happy they try and force payment. It seems this Company want money for nothing. They have not been out to my garden since end of July, Direct Debit was paid, and now that I want to cancel are telling me I am in a ‘rolling contract’ and must continue to pay until May next year. I have asked for contract that I have signed to be sent but they just refer to T & Cs on website and a screenshot of a computer screen. I am sure we all would like money for nothing but when a customer is unhappy with the service, the last thing a Business should be doing is bullying and forcing someone to pay….for nothing. I could see the point if there was a physical product but this is someone coming out and spending 10 minutes a month on grass. Hence the state of it.
A first class treatment of my lawn areas, together with tining and scarifying, with bare areas at the edges raked and seeded. The two technicians kept me well informed throughout. Well done Prolawn.
Andy is very polite and efficient and explains very clearly what is to be done and what to do later. The grass is looking good apart from a small bald area which has not been dealt with.
