We popped in for a quick sandwich and a drink.nWonderful fresh bread with an enormous amount of fillings.nPot of tea for two, lovely strong brew.nGreat service.nGave 5 stars for rooms, although we didn't stay, as I didn’t want it to affect a well deserved 5 star review.
Four of us have just returned from a weekend in The Cotswolds. From the moment I enquired about accommodation, Justin was very responsive. The rooms, although compact were extremely clean and comfortable. The location is superb and very quiet as the rooms are at the back of the Tearoom. They also have a shared courtyard. Breakfast this morning was huge and very well cooked with quality produce. Nothing was too much trouble for Deb in the tearoom. We felt our customer was important and we were well looked after. Thank you, we will recommend and be back
Perfect spot to stop off and admire the view of a beautiful Cotswolds high street and people watch too! Great choice of cakes and drinks! Fabulous tangy lemon cake lovely service delivered to your table x
We popped in for a cream tea. £9.25 each! Wow! Nice scone but really small portion of jam and cream. When I asked for a bit more I was told that I would have to pay for it! For that price I think it was a reasonable request.nFor comparison, a cream tea on Richmond Hill Pembroke Lodge is £6.50, and has a big pot of fresh jam and more cream than you could eat.nBurford is certainly very picturesque, but that doesn’t mean people will pay 40% more for 40% less.
We went to Priory Burford Cafe for some tea and cakes. On a cold winter day, the cream tea with fruit scones was delicious. We also tried their carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake which were great too.
