I love the fish and chips . They cook it well.. if you have been to the busy place by the roundabout.. give this place a try and taste the difference . Just had 2 large cod and 1 large chips and it went down a treat.
Fish wasn't too bad but the chips were very small and only just warm , got all the signs of reheated chips from the previous night , so we won't be going there again
Love this place. Fish and chips are excellent, substantial portions, mushy peas not far off my strict northern standards. Never been let down on quality yet. Now a Friday night staple!

Stopped for our Friday tea after a hard day on holiday on the canal. Asked for 2 small cod and a cone of chips as we have from home local chip shop. All I can say is the fish were not small - we could have had one between us - and the chips would be enough for two days. As for the price - it was 30 pence cheaper than at home. People who complain about the meal they get need to be ignored imo.
Excellent food the fish are amazing Good quality food at a reasonable price you won't get a better fish n chips in this area also do fantastic burgers chicken and kebabs

Always call when we go to watch the Cricket at Stone. Good service, quality Fish & Chips, we had a group of 8 to order for and all enjoyed it
Just been in 27th March 2018 ... never seen chips like it .. chips were over cooked dark brown ,this is down to using dirty fat !! Took the chips back and the owner offered me fresh chips which he said “were freshly cooked “these were the same colour as the ones I was bringing back !! Absolutely disgusting !! Iv heard on the reviews that “this is the best chippy in stone “ It must be the only chippy in stone that’s all I can say !!
