This is a lovely shopping. Experience with something for everyone. I loved the little green with garden games and deck chairs. A nice little rest stop to sit with the kids whilst hubby got coffee from coffee #1.
Princesshay was my favourite spot in the 1970s and 1980s. I visited there yesterday for the first time in 43 years to find the place wearing a new look.nSome of the flowers, as I knew them, were still there but a lot of buildings and shops have sprung up, giving it a totally different look. Mind you, I have no aversion for modernisation.nOne thing I missed was the aroma of freshly brewed coffee which used to be the hallmark of Princesshay. Also, there was no sign of iced-tea vendors. I missed that too.nWhatever the changes, Princesshay will continue to be Princesshay.
It was good to be under cover on a very wet afternoon visit.nnThe EV chargers on level 5 of car park 1 the main multistorey are being replaced ? so aren't available at the moment. There didn't appear to be any info on when they will be online again. The car park looks clean and is convenient for central Exeter, and mostly rain-free!
Quite different shops around this area... nice to explore and taking your time to browse.. looking very festive atm with decorations up.
