Surprisingly pleasant venue with excellent indoor and outdoor space. Dedicated parking is limited, so for bigger events assume that you may need to use street or general parking lots.nnPS Special thanks to 99p Films and the Falmouth Food Co-op.
I went to a Home Ed Christmas function which was well catered for. The cafe was clean and hygienic, the prices were fair, and the venue was filled with other likewise happy individuals and families. Not a frown in sight.
The food was delicious! We had a steak and a cheese and onion pastie, with a slice of Cornish Hevva Cake which was divine!. Apologies, we were ravished after our 4 mile walk and got stuck in before I took any photos! :nThe gardens were beautiful! I absolutely adored the selection of Christmas trees, decorated by all the local nurseries and schools.nIf you're in the area, definitely pop in! You won't regret it :
What a lovely hidden gem in the centre of Falmouth. Not far from the beach and a beautiful garden walk through. It's a lovely historical garden surroundings. Giant aloes and echiums lead to a circle garden with huge Australian tree ferns.nThe venue is old and needs an update inside but beautiful all the same. Great for functions and beautiful for weddings. Plenty of parking out the front and easy to walk to from the town and the beach.
Sadly unable to comment on the delicious looking food and drink - despite having multiple staff bimbling around the location it would appear to that the three other members of the team nominated the world's slowest human being to manage the whole of the cafe area, which is understandable as there were only two people ahead of me in the line.nnThey also seemed somewhat confused, having joined the line as hope filled 20 somethings and were still waiting well into their 40s.nnRoom was nice, gardens were pretty, dread to think how it would work as a theatre/music venue if they share similar hiring practices.nnThis is a shame as I've been looking for a reliable meeting space and while this place has free parking, my consultations typically only last an hour and that would barely cover the time required to get a cuppa and slice of cake
