What an amazing theatre! We visited on the 1st of Jan for my niece's 7th birthday, we went to see Cinderella. What an fantastic performance - My niece had a great time and so did we. For both adults and children. The stepmothers outfits were INSANE!
To start they were extremely very helpful when booking the tickets as needed to make sure that enough leg room and space so they let me into the see seating arrangement...the night of the show great in organisation and accompanying to seating position..the show was great..the only problem was the seat themselves are not very comfortable although they have replaced the tiered ones where we were,but and being before the floor ones are even worse and not a lot of space either..but that is the only let down of the whole story,keep up they otherwise amazing experience can't wait to see our next outing.
The theatre was quite cold. Staff were all friendly. The show was an average pantomime but for the price of both the show and refreshments it was a good day out that didn't cost the earth.
Watched a great show featuring Odyssey, they have still got it! Seating is comfortable, and the bar is well stocked.
What an amazing theatre. I went to see Shrek today and the ambiance was brilliant. The theatre was clean and well presented, everything was reasonably priced. Wherever you sit you can see the stage! Definitely gives London a run for its money for shows. I am looking forward to going back soon!!
Nice people, didn't mind the bag search, although there could have been more security carrying it out. A great show totally ruined by the worst seating ever. We were on the floor section, small uncomfortable folding chairs, no arms, bolted together meant continuous body contact with people either side. Even worse when you have to look around the side of the person in front, instead of over the top as in a normal theater.
What a lovely Theatre. So well preserved and presented. Staff very friendly too.
Despite the show itself being brilliant, I was incredibly disappointed by the princes theatre management and facilities last night. I arrived at 7.10pm to find a huge queue. It was only as I approached the counter that I was told the card machines were down, and despite there being other staff members around only one poor girl on the desk, looking extremely flustered. I finally sat down at 7.27, realising I'd missed out on some great preshow music and entertainment from the group performing. I was fully expecting a late curtain to allow for the rest of the audience waiting to get their tickets, however the show still started on time which was a real shame for those who then had to walk in once it had started, disrupting the performance and the audience members already seated. Poor management in it being so under staffed, and to not have working card facilities without any notice up or warning was poor organisation.
Excellent Theatre. Great prices for drinks and snacks. Definitely going to go again.
Numerous alcohol intoxicated people who wont to talk and use their phones during the performance Fleetwood Mac 10th Nov spoiling it for so many others. Complained to the theatre, they agreed, told me since COVID there has been a lot on antisocial behaviour there, all drink induced. Don't think I will be going back.
