Visited here with my husband for Sunday lunch. Meal was fantastic and will definitely return again. Food was fresh, piping hot and plenty of it. Dessert of crumble and cream was beautiful. Staff were friendly and polite, quick to take orders and served quickly and efficiently 10 out of 10. Very clean dining area. Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from. Parking: Lucky, had last parking spot in car park.

Never heard of this place, found it on the off chance so booked a table. Very warm welcome, very efficient service, a lovely atmosphere in an olde worldly setting, a great menu with lots of classic meals on not many places serve the classic Pub grub meals anymore the food was absolutely beautiful. Hunters chicken, mixed grill and 2 burgers, everything was cooked perfectly. This is now our new favourite place, we’ve also booked for Sunday lunch which we are very much looking forward to . 5 from us, we look forward to coming back
Wonderful service and proper portions well cooked and presented. Misread the bill and underpaid but sorted later. Really impressed with all the staff and a joy to eat there on a Saturday afternoon. Need more pubs like this!!!!
We went out for lunch with my mother and we were not disappointed. The tri of lamb chops, ham egg and chips and chicken curry were ordered and every plate was clean after. A very enjoyable meal, and the staff were excellent. We would highly recommend this place but we recommend booking a table to be safe. Enjoy. Parking: The carkpark is right outside the pub, easy and simple.

Went for lunch with my husband. What a little gemxx I loved it all. Firstly the staff when we arrived were lovely and friendly and professional xx they got it just rightxx The atmosphere was amazing with locals x walkers and drop ins we all got a real friendly welcome. The food here is homemade and absolutely gorgeous. You always get a warm welcome as soon as you step inside the door & you feel at home, the staff are so lovely.Food: 5/5
Ordered a takeaway today for my wife and I and have to say that we have really missed the food and being able to dine here. The food was superb as usual and great value for money. We ordered over the phone and the food was ready for collection in 15-20 mins. We both had the cod goujons and chips which also come with a generous portion of mushy peas and a portion of curry sauce. Followed by a lovely pudding with cream.
