Warm friendly welcome on arriving. Car park close by, minimal walking for disabled.nAccommodated our request for food without booking despite having a busy night planned. Party of 12 in for Sunday lunch to celebrate my brother's birthday. We felt well looked after by Steve and the team. Lovely Sunday carvery, good portion sizes, and very tasty.nOff the main drag of the high street, so looks a bit out of the way, but well worth a visit. Good selection of ales, and top banter with the punters!
Excellent service and really accommodating. Able to book for 11 on a bank Holl Sunday for lunch. They were extremely accommodating for dogs and fussy kids. Vegetarian meals offered even though not normally put on Sundays. Carvery for 6, three kids meals and two veggies.
Really friendly local. Food great and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Locals friendly. Decent beer. Proper old school pub.
Great pub, lovely atmosphere, everyone made me feel welcome and the food was excellent. Apart from tony, he wont shut up. Steve is a lovely bar man… but tony… less said the better
