This afternoon I booked a table, at short notice for my daughter's birthday. I mentioned on the phone that we'd be bringing our dog. When we arrived we were welcomed so warmly. On the table was a bowl of water and two plates with dog biscuits. They treated my daughter like a princess. I brought along a cake and they sort it and brought it out, singing happy birthday. I highly recommend. Under new management, they are doing a beautiful job!

Well kept drinks but staffing levels at busy times are a bit poor and you can sometimes wait up to 15 minutes for a drink. Good food but fairly small portions. It's a typical themed big company owned pub

Very good experience thanks. Decent and varied menu of pub grub. Good vegetarian and kids options. Friendly and efficient service. Good beer selection.

Don't expect gourmet food here, of course it's pub grub. The food is of good quality. I recommend enjoying the garden with friends and family in the summer season.

We have had Sunday lunch before and it has always been good. However yesterday we were a party of 8 including visitors from abroad at 5 pm. The lunch menu was still on and six of us ordered from it. The food was poor, clearly not freshly cooked and my normally excellent beef rib was small and dried out. Also it took twenty minutes from when the first plate arrived to last. This place is now “off the list”
