Susie and Paul are great and the location is amazing with only a short drive to central Nottingham or you can take a regular bus from close by to their B&B. It’s proximity means that you are able to enjoy the city but also not stuck if you want to quickly see the surrounding areas. The B&B is lovely, we stayed in the Top Cottage and the bed is super comfortable Susie did mention the name of the brand so I will have to find that out as the night sleep was amazing leaving you feeling rested and refreshed and an en-suite bathroom with all of the amenities you could want. We also had a little kitchenette but we only used the fridge to cool down some drinks. Breakfast was incredible served in the main house with lovely fresh bread/rolls each morning, eggs how you like with homemade jams and spreads along with fresh squeezed orange juice and unlimited tea/coffee. Please do check this place out as it is a Gem!!!!
Our wedding guests stayed at Primrose House for the weekend and it was perfect in every respect. Welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were really comfortable and the location idyllic. Would recommend to anyone, thank you Susie and Paul. A beautiful location in a lovely village. The rooms are of a very high quality and feel like a home-away-from-home. Always a warm welcome from Susie and Paul, who look after you like family. Breakfast is a definite high point, with an extensive selection and delicious hot options the freshly baked bread each morning was a real treat!. A real pleasure to stay and will be returning in the future.
Lovely B & B, stayed 2 nights for a local wedding. Really friendly atmosphere and service was superb. Breakfast is lovely and it's nice to stay where customers are actually cherished. I will stay there again. RecommendedRooms: 4/5
The Perfect Bed & Breakfast! We three adults had an absolutely fabulous stay at this B&B nestled in the delightful town of Cotgrave just southwest of Nottingham! The host was a true joy, she has produced excellently fitted rooms with every amenity, an amazingly well-tended garden, and the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a Bed&Breakfast! Location was also excellent, well positioned near Loughborough University and Skydive Langar, among many other nice places to visit. Arriving at the property, Susie let us sit in the garden and brought our teas, coffee and homemade lemon cake! It was so thoughtful! Susie provided us with her personal recommendations for walkable restaurants in the area and the restaurant we chose was great value! The room had very comfortable bed, plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchenette, a nice tv, and a very nice bathroom. Susie’s breakfast was out of this world: homemade bread, the choice of a home-cooked full English, eggs Benedict, or eggs with smoked salmon with careful attention to allergies as needed. Home-prepared jams, crème fraiche, berry compotes, etc. All in all the breakfast was amazing, guaranteed you’ll walk away content! Overall, a 10/10 experience, highly recommend staying at Primrose House if you’re anywhere near the area!
