Great local newsagent! It gives and old-style, family-owned feeling. The lady at the counter was absolutely friendly. You can find different variety of magazines business, history, travel, fashion and many more, selection is quite wide! They also have almost all local newspapers from Ireland and the UK. A small stationery corner and wide selection of cards. A great gem in the middle of Monkstown.
What a lovely shop. Had a fantastic experience there - sent an email to Hewetts late in the evening about pre-booking some concert tickets they were selling. Thelma responded immediately and held them for me for collection the next day. Excellent customer service.

Lovely and friendly people in charge. A great selection of magazines and cards. You can find all sorts of magazines. If you need a particular newspaper or magazine, they put your name in the list and keep that for you. You can email or call them for that as well.
Great selection of all types of magazine's including Rugby World! It has a nice shop, card, lotto and top up for travel cards!
If there was an award for superb customer service I would award it to Hewetts. Unfortunately I live abroad but when I couldn't get a book The Last Voyage of the Leinster in Ireland for my Father in Law, I discovered that Hewetts had it and phoned to see if they had any left, I spoke one of the family and she was so incredibly nice and then emailed her sister who promptly posted the books to Galway! Just so so nice and friendly and went out of the way to help us. This has absolutely made my father in laws January! I can't thank or recommend Hewetts enough. You don't get service like this often!
