I placed my order with Primal on 18/11/24. The item was shown as a stock item.nThe order confirmation was sent promptly with no indication that the item was out of stock or on back order.nUnfortunately I had no further communication related to the status of the order.nWhat I did receive was plenty of emails tempting me to make additional purchases, so many in fact I joked about it with my training group at the gym.nOn 26/11/24 I emailed Primal at the address stated on the bottom of the order confirmation email.nI had no reply so I phoned to chase today 27/11/24. I spoke to Derek, who informed me that my order was not in stock and was on back order.nHe advised me that this would have been clearly indicated on my order confirmation.nHe subsequently confirmed it wasn't.nDerek then apologized and offered me a refund and a voucher off my next purchase, which according to Derek made everything OK.nI disagreed and advised him to keep his voucher and action my refund ASAP, as I now needed to find an alternative Christmas present.nI asked Derek the following questions which he didn't answer:-nWhen, if ever would they have responded to my email?nWhen would they have had the courtesy to advise me that my order was not in stock?nIs this another company that states products are in stock to get your money and then make you wait on a back order?nUnfortunately too many companies think this is acceptable.nThe only way for customers to change this is to shop elsewhere.
Honestly, don't bother.nnThey are meant to call you to arrange a delivery - they don't you have to chase themnnThe delivery didn't turn up. You need to chase them more.nnThe goods arrived and the pull up bar weld has a massive hole in it, collapses the minute you try to pull up which is a bit of an issue and then you have to call them 6 or 7 more times to get a response.nnThey then claim to have not seen your emails, then it's a small cycle of placing you on hold while they come up with an excuse.nnNow waiting for a call back that will not happen, I'll just take the hit this time and accept i'm not getting a response, replacement or refund.nnIf only I could do a workout, that would help loads, but I can't as I chose Primal and not a reputable brand.
Unprofessional, unreliable, tiresome - delay followed by delay with no good reason stated - they should not offer for sale products not in stock. An honest rather than dishonest delivery date should be immediately provided. They only provide lame excuses.nnOrder #53982
callum + mark in sales have been absolutely brilliant in helping sort equipment for my new studio gym. really professional , knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make sure everything is on point. I've invested in over 30 + pieces of equipment and I'm over the moon with the level of standard. I'm not interested in dealing with anyone else in the UK.
