Quite for a Sunday lunch. Service was good. Food was good. I had a burger found it a bit dry but aside from that, still good.Food: 3/5
Normally have a lovely time at this prezzos family friendly but this time the food was mediocre and service was just absolutely dreadful. Absolutely no interest paid to our table what so ever. We arrived at 6.15 our booking time as we have a 2 Yr old so wanted a quick in, eat and out. This didn't happen. We tried ordering first which arrived in OK time but then the staff didn't even do table checks which was definitely needed as my ravioli was under cooked and I attempted to get attention of anyone which didn't happen as they were running around like headless chickens in a not that busy restaurant. Eventually our table was cleared without even a glance or to ask if everything was OK and no offer of a dessert menu. Eventually someone gave us one and after 10 minutes of sitting someone took our order and then someone else tried to take it for a second time... no communication happening at all.. The 2 puddings we ordered then took another half an hour to arrive which has obviously been sitting on the pass under a hot lamp as the ice-cream was melted and filmed... By the time we left it was gone 8pm and with a 2 year old than is less than desirable. To top it off it cost £70 for 2 meals and a kids meal. Overpriced? I think so. Disappointed is an understatement we won't be returning.
Very friendly service and tasty food. I feel the food was slightly better this time than previous visit. It's a chain, you know what you're getting and delivers based on those expectations.Food: 5/5
Took the girlfriend out for her birthday meal and neither of us had been to Prezzo in Aldeburgh before yesterday. We both enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks together in a cozy atmosphere. The service was good. We will be back for further meals whenever we are in Aldeburgh.
Disappointing. Normally Prezzo will give you a baseline of good Italian food, well priced and great service. We pre booked but had to wait 10 mins at the entrance to be seen and seated. It was quickly evident that they were really understaffed on our visit. Drinks arrived after the food, Calzone wasn’t cooked properly and food didn’t get cleared before the bill was presented. You could see the team working hard to cater for a busy night but that said our experience was poor.
Visited Prezzo, Aldeburgh as a walk-in on a Monday evening. The restaurant was surprisingly busy with only one waitress looking after all tables. Our order was taken promptly and starters and mains served very quickly. Angie did such a great job to look after everyone, she was very polite and organised considering the numbers tables she was looking after - a real credit to Prezzo. Looking forward to visiting again whilst we’re in Aldeburgh on holiday.
Excellent service, The chap was very friendly and helped me treat my mum to a meal out by paying secretly. I can't remember his name but he's a tall guy and only been there for a short time, if his bosses are reading this, give that man a slice of cake on the house! He deserves it! Vegetarian options: Vegan Spag Bol was pretty darn tooting lavely.
This restaurant is normally so good but last night our meal was poor . The waitresses were doing their best but some of the food was cold even after reheating it . We were informed that staff had called in sick it was obvious the team couldn’t cope with the amount of customers .. Once again no GF lager which is so frustrating when they serve a good GF menu ? Aldeburgh is a wonderful place and their prezzos needs to be better than what it was Monday evening . I’m sure they’ll sort it . Dawn Dietary restrictions: No GF lager again
We always book here when we come on holiday and have never really had any issues but this visit was not great. Our table was book for after 8pm and only one table came in after us the place didn't seem busy as most tables were empty and covered in dirty plates and glasses. We ordered drinks and the staff were very polite. Firstly we ordered an expensive wine and the bottle was just plonked in front of us with top on so had to open and pour ourselves. When asked if they open it they said our customer prefer to open their own, ...maybe ask rather than presume! We ordered food starters and mains. Starters came out and they were nice other than mine was put in front of me, king prawn and Gnocchi starter then taken away again as the waitress noticed it was missing the Gnocchi. All starters were very tasty. Then it went down hill........ The lady overseeing the pass went home! There were constantly take away pizza's going out the pass all evening that seemed to play president over customers dining. 5 of us dined and 2 of our pizza's were correct. 2 posh pizza's had items missing off them and my husbands must have been totally wrong as the waitress was arguing with the chef about them. 4 out of 5 were delivered to the table my husbands turned up later which he went and got himself from the pass as it was just sitting there. The dough was not cooked properly and it was unedible. All they kept saying was that they had been busy but there was just us and another couple in there. If they had simply explained they had a chef that hadn't a clue what he was doing and was new and he had done the orders wrong rather than rush another pizza and it be raw. It doesn't take much to explain as mistakes happen but to then be stared out across the room by the chef as we sent the food back was unsettling. The waitress apologised and we have no issues with them it's the kitchen that clearly has major issues. They offered us a free meal and drinks as a apology but we said we would pay for the drinks but not food After speaking with other people apparently we are not they only ones that have experienced this service.
Avoid at all cost! Ordered a meal, pasta had no cheese on pizza was stone cold and truffle fries missing. Rang the restaurant and they flatly refused to help as was ordered through just eat ON THEIR WEBSITE. Prezzo totally messed up and wouldn’t take responsibility. Dreadful customer service!!! Avoid !
