I went there on a Monday night. The place was a bit loud because of a birthday party but the waiter apologised in advance and gave me a quiet table. I had the Italian hummus which was a very pleasant surprise. Then the spicy calzone. A bit fatty but overall ok. The tiramisu was not the best, it was a bit too cold and hard. The service was pleasant even though I have to admit that it was not necessarily very fast. The place itself has a nice thing to it.
Amazing food. Staff were friendly and explained things well when you needed it. Portion size is huge, so you're definitely getting what you're paying for I made a reservation, and it was empty when I was there, so you may not need one. Fast service and good food. Would recommend.
Looking a little dated, compared to the other newer Italian food places in Taunton, but great value with the 'Weekend Menu'. 2 courses for £10.50 or 3 course for £13. Food on the menu was extensive and offered a great range. Runs from Thursday until Sundays and includes Saturdays as long as before 7pm. The service was great and food lovely, made even better with the great value.
Great Gluten Free Menu - lots of choice. Staff are amazingly friendly. The atmosphere is very romantic. Good wine. Disabled Toilet a lovely size and very clean.
Well, hmm where do we start. Very slow service - 20 minutes to get drinks and they were wrong. The starters were ok but by this point we were quite hungry and the kids were tired of waiting. We seemed to have completely different staff at every interaction. Others who came in after us were served first. Then half our mains turned up. We had to chase the other half and then remind the waitress that we didn't have any cutlery. The caesar salad was very greasy. Then to my shock I found some chips hiding at the bottom. Let's say we didn't stay for dessert! The only positive thing was that they did at least give us a discount when we offered some feedback. The strange thing they had loads of staff waiting about by the bar so it wasn't that they were rushed off their feet - strange. Not sure we'll be going back!
The food was alright, the service was okay though the servers weren't particularly friendly and the prices are reasonable. I prefer some of the other Italian chains like Zizzi or Ask but if you want some really good Italian food I couldn't recommend Little Italy enough though you will have to book
My Wife and I really like Prezzo, Taunton, partly due to the numerous offers that we are sent by them but also for the quality and cost of the food. The Menu constantly changes and there is a good variety to choose from. THE ONE NEGATIVE is the service. There is more often than not, the feeling that we are being rushed, probably due to the fact that the staff are trying to fit in an extra sitting, in which case they should rename it Prezzo Express. This really spoils what is usually an excellent experience
The food is great and there is a wide variety. They also have hot an cold drinks. The toilets are clean. The servers are very understanding and friendly.
The worst one everi go to many prezzo's and in this one nobody's knows anything each person says diffrent things each time. Went in with a reservation and until i ordered my drink i was then told most things on the menu are not available. As it was my birthday i was given a Bottle of Prosecco voucher on presenting it i was told no problem the manager then came back said no we cant do it I left very disappointed, hungry as i did not want to stay they tried to convince me to stay. i been put off with the whole experience. that place is a joke.
The service here is good but that is about where it ends. we ordered tiger Praws as a starter but they servered us Shrimp. When we complained they were quick to take the order away and offer something else. The issue for me is don't serve shrimp if the menu says tiger Prawns! The main course paster dish was a chilly pasta I can't imagine many people would eb able to eat it so hot that chilly was the only flavour that I could taste. really not good at all. The house wine is good the white is lite and fruity. My summary of our experince is that value for money is poor, food very poor, service good. I will not eat here again.
