Have had multiple visits here and have always enjoyed the food. Even when busy, service has been fantastic. Their risotto is the only dish I’ve been disappointed by- not a lot or flavour in it, but have returned since and enjoyed other parts of their menu that were delicious. Photo is from a 2019 visit.
Lovely family meal. Beautiful setting. Lovely customer service. Food was hot and delicious and the smashed honeycomb cheese cake was amazing.
Came here with my partner for our anniversary. I had an incredible evening here. The staff and service were beyond exemplary. We were never sat waiting for a waiter to take our order or to give us the bill; our drinks came straight after we ordered them; the food was brought to us at a steady pace, not too slow or too fast, perfect to relax and enjoy the evening and to not feel frustrated or rushed. The staff, including the manager were outstanding and took the time to talk to us, asking about our day as well as have a laugh and a joke. The food tasted amazing as always, I had the carbonara. 10/10 for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. Prezzo exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. Really made my anniversary.
I was a bit apprehensive at first that it’d be a seamless weekday lunch, since the staff seemed to be a little flustered and “getting things under control”, despite not being overly busy. But after a short wait on the sofas in the reception area it proceeded to be a really nice experience. We secured a table in the window at the front of the restaurant, which is great with the views and being able to watch the world go by. It was a lot quieter and felt a little detached from the main dining area, but the service from the waiting staff didn’t suffer as a result and it made it a lot more relaxing. Orders were taken quickly with the drinks arriving almost immediately and the food too was served in good time. Portion sizes were really impressive both the presentation and taste were great. When ordering pasta dishes you’re asked if you want cheese adding, which is done in the kitchen rather than at the table, so you might not get the amount you want but at least it’s still an option. The waiting staff checked up during the meal and getting additional drinks was nice and easy. Overall it was a nice fuss free meal with decent enough value for the location and setting. I’d happily consider visiting again.
Good but not as good as my previous visits. The waitress was ok but took a very long time to bring water as she was waiting for the coffee machine to be free. Food was good but had better previously here, also one of the new dishes was spicy but the menu made no mention of spice/chillies. Coffee was overheated which slightly burns the coffee plus could have done with a little more milk for a latte. Still wasn't too bad, was hopefully just an off night, I'll still go again. The calamari starter was fantastic!

We have previously had good experiences here but not tonight. The service was poor and not at all personal. The restaurant was empty yet we wasnt asked how our food was and when we asked for some mayo, we were told there would be a £1 charge. We added mushrooms to my wifes meal and was charged an additional £3 which we think for 1 mushroom is very expensive. We have been put off from going again.
Took my family and and their partners out for lunch 28/12/2022 and have to say extremely disappointed. Staff were friendly enough but..My wife's meal was stone cold and when it was brought back to her, the sauce was now like water and the chicken so rubbery. yes they deducted this meal from the total cost but this spoilt the whole experience and suffice to say, we will not be returning.
Had booked a table for 6pm but arrived 15 minutes early but no problem at all and the manager showed us to our table. Our waitress was Maddie and what a lovely lady she was. Treated us well and didn't make us feel rushed in any way, which can be a fault with some eateries nowadays. Our meals arrived quite quickly and most importantly hot and were very very nice. Upon paying, it was no problem to Maddie when we produced a gift card which sometimes causes alarm bells with staff and it was all treated with humour and fun. Lovely food and great service. This is a great place to eat with fast service, amazing food & ambiance. We went on the eat out to help out evening with a window view of the Brayford but, we could see the amount of people getting turned away so this place is definitely best to book! The meal is three courses for £19 if you were wondering!
