Went to Prezzo in mumbles with my wife and daughter for a meal. Didn't book a table which wasn't an issue as it was quite in the restaurant. Was seated quickly by our server who was very good but forgot to catch his name. He recognised the fact that we are Muslims and asked if he should take the wine glasses straight away which was nice. Explained the children's menu and took our orders. Also offered my daughter pencils to colour in the back of the children's menu. Which is nice to keep kids occupied while the food was prepared. Food was lovely and came within a good time. And happy with the service up until this point. Unfortunately our server went on break and things became a little slow especially as we were trying to leave and pay out bill. Also had to ask a few times for our daughters desert. Overall a very good experience and would go back again. Would love it if they had some halal options.
First time visiting this place, menu and being situated in an area with a view looking over Mumbles Bay I was expecting good things. We were greeted and taken upstairs where we were seated family of 5 and no one else present which initially wasn’t an issue. Great views looking over the beach and Mumbles. The decor photos attached seemed very basic like what I would describe as a canteen certainly not like an Authentic Italian restaurant. Photos attached Also, the floors and seating could do with a professional deep clean especially when we were the first people there and evidence floors hadn’t been cleaned ! Drinks and food ordered quickly and starters arrived fairly promptly and was nice - no complaints. Mains arrived and 2 portions of chips were ‘Luke warm’ and had to be replaced, the chicken and mushroom dish was quite tough to cut. Pizzas were great…! Had to ask for 1 desert which came included as part of the children’s meal and dirty dishes were left on the table whilst my daughter ate her food. As we were seated upstairs and on our own I think we were forgotten about on times and the staff who although are pleasant were clearly young and inexperienced. Prior to giving deserts its routine to remove the old mains dirty dishes - but that wasn’t the case today. No courtesy from the staff asking if we enjoyed, or needed anything or how was the meal etc …! 4 of us ate, starters each and mains drinks - 1 child meal and came to £150.00 I wouldn’t recommend this place and wouldn’t return based on the experience we had today.
This Prezzo branch was amazing, staff were really nice. Food was hot and we didn't have to wait too long for it to come out, you can see the pizzas being freshly cooked which was amazing. I asked for sweet balsamic onions as a topping instead of normal red onion and this was no bother. They asked about allergies so I mentioned about cucumber so they spoke to me regarding that as I know they put that on salads so that was great. Toilets were clean, but a couple of the locks didn't work someone walked in on me even though I locked it and when my partner went he walked in one someone too Tried to book online in advance but it said no room but when we arrived there was lots of room so must be something wrong with the booking system. Really enjoyed it and if we visit The Mumbles again we would definitely dine here again.
The food we ordered was Absolutely beautiful...... so tasty, well cooked and served with a smile. Childrens meals are excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful when we wanted to change our order. The manager is something else, he made my evening. Such a funny, quirky on the ball sense of humour. The reason I'm giving them only 4 starts - even though they deserve 5 - is the chairs are looking a bit unloved, old and battered. We will finitely be visiting Prezzo again soon.
Visited one evening, quite early. Plenty of parking at reasonable prices. Restaurant was cold, everyone kept their costs on. Service was very friendly, credit to all the waiting staff. The pasta was excellent, the pizza was OK, not enough toppings, meaning some of the time you were just eating plain dough. Desserts were good, but not worth £7.75 each. Overall disappointing, too expensive for what it is, £60 for two mains, two desserts and two soft drinks in a cold restaurant with old worn seating. No reflection on the staff who were excellent, but Prezzo need to let them turn the heating on, update the worn furniture and make the prices more realistic for what is being served.
I went to Prezzo last night with my Mum and my Brother. It was very busy Thursday night in half term, but the waitress who was serving us was great, and really went out of the way with customer service. The menu has a great range of dishes, and there are specific vegan/vegetarian menus as well which is really nice. We went for starters, mains and desserts and the food was delicious you can always guarantee this with a chain restaurant. The service was slow we waited about 20 mins for drinks, 30 mins for the starters and another 30 mins for our mains, however this was made up for by the waitress serving us and also the quality of the food. In terms of seating, you can either sit upstairs or downstairs, and I would definitely recommend booking as it was busy. If we come and visit the Gower again, we will certainly be coming back. Vegetarian options: There is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu see photos
Food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. The staff were lovely and friendly and no waiting around for food. Will be back. The crab and lobster ravioli...mmm mmm
Nice place, food and atmosphere. The service was really kind. I went there for lunch and had pumpkin ravioli and a fresh lemonade, everything was amazing Top floor has unique views. Vegetarian options: Pumping ravioli with mushrooms. Nice and unique flavour. Many other options in the menu.
I’ve been to Prezzo multiple locations not just Mumbles and they have never disappointed! The food is always brilliant quality and the service is always very warm and welcoming. I went with my boyfriend and we were served quickly and didn’t wait long for the food - which was amazing! I had the grande pepperoni pizza, it was so tasty and definitely worth all the calories. My boyfriend had the Enzo burger and said that the meat was juicy and the portion size was perfect for him. 10/10 would recommend.
We came as a family to celebrate a joint birthday meal. Our server, who I believe was called Mitzi, was absolutely fantastic. She was so patient with my niece, who had just turned 5, and was incredibly conscientious, engaging and accommodating. An absolute superstar! Food was very good and delivered quickly. Thank you Prezzo for the good night! Will definitely come again
