Food took a long while to get to us. It also had a starter missing which we think may have slowed down the main. Cocktail was good and the pasta was good. I thought they had missed off the chilli but you could just taste at the end.
I have been there last night and had an incredible experience... Staff were wonderful always polite checking our tables at all times . The food was amazing and in a good portion. By far one of the best pastas i had.
Poor service, after more than one hour waiting time they came with missing part of order. Unproffesional staff without any kind off experience in customer service. And after I received a rubish salad with old meat and letuce. I do not recomend it!
Leaky roof, dated decor and inexperienced staff leaves a lot to be desired. Food itself is fine, even if on the pricey side, what you’d expect from a country wide chain, but nothing to write home about. Could definitely do with a spark of life and issues like the leaky ceiling, and subsequent ruined floor updated.
Five stars...first of all the staff were awesome! We sat for the best part of 15mins before sorting the drinks order and the cocktails arrived...I'm still choking on the Coco powder on my tiramisu Martini, I now have asthma, anyway...the food was actually really good but the French fries were late, this is the best bit lol... genuinely they were from McDonald's, they must have been delivered out back, even had that distinctive smell, but we like McDonald's so happy days. We will be back.
The service was very slow but the staff were friendly. The starters were good but the mains were disappointing salty and lacked flavour. Ordered a cocktail which should have come with a shot but it never arrived. Seated at the back of the restaurant with a draft coming from a fire exit door, so bad members of our group put their coats on above there was a constant noise from some sort of fan. When we mentioned this the staff apologised but offered no resolution. On the whole will not be returning any time soon.
Mothers Day 2023. We were sat upstairs, which wasnt very appealing, a bit run down, compared to downstairs it was a bit drab. The waiter disappeared immediately after we sat down without asking if we needed drinks, or anything for the table, and did not return. We got the attention of a staff member collecting glasses and managed to order drinks. the food was very nice and came promptly, although no plates were provided for our starters. empty glasses/bottles were not collected at any point during the entire 3 course meal, which made the table look cluttered and dirty. A unnecessarily long wait, almost 20 minutes, for dessert, and the same protracted wait for the bill and then once again to pay. I can't understand why we are presented with the bill, which we have asked to pay, then the staff walk away when we are clearly ready to pay. eventually we went and found the staff. and requested to pay. it was claerly very busy downstairs, the upstairs was sparce, not at all full. Not a very good experience, it was such a shame, as we have had decent experiences in the past.
Went here on boxing day as everything else was closed. The food is expensive but it was very nice. I was disappointed they had no apple juice or orange juice. Seems a bit odd. Other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful. Good experience apart from the lack of drink selection.

Visited for a family meal today and the service was very slow despite being seated at 6:30 when it was very quiet. Whether short staffed or some other reason, the wait got beyond acceptable. However the manager was very communicative and apologetic and gave us discount and a free round of drinks which made all the difference. And in the end we had an enjoyable evening. The young manager did a great job of turning a poor situation into a good night, well done!
