Lovely food, the only downside was the staff didn't seem that professional.
Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch. Staff were friendly and, although the restaurant became quite busy, were happy to chat if conditions allowed. The menu was what I would call standard - Prezzo and from it came very acceptable food. No complaints!
We went here with a Buy a gift voucher for a set Menu deal, quality food with good portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Very nice evening out.
Not my favourite place to dine. We went for a birthday celebration. The food is not good in my opinion. It always looks like its been poured into a bowl from a plastic container that's been microwaved. I can do that myself at home. I know I'm quite the gourmet chef. Unfortunately they charge top dollar for this. The fact that nothing comes with your choice of meal can really bump up the price. One saving grace for Prezzo, is the staff. I be always found them very pleasant and helpful. There are far better restaurants just a stones throw from here. Personally, I would try one of these.
Seriously shocking every time we have tried to eat here recently we have been turned away as they are too busy. Last time they already had a sign saying bookings only, this time we drove up the high street and checked before we payed for parking. Sounds good but the actual case is that they have no bloody staff! Or should I say only have 2 people in the kitchen but plenty on the floor. I have heard Prezzo as a group are not doing that we'll we' it does not surprise me if they cannot get basics like staff rotas and actually being able to serve customers with food.
Absolutely shocking .... was told when we arrived that there was no mixed salad and no rocket salad so reluctantly I had a lasagna with NO SALAD ..... when my husbands Calzone arrived it had a rocket salad on the plate , not trying to be awkward here but how does he get a rocket salad and I can’t have one ? I was told that it came with the Calzone and some rubbish about it being in a different part of the kitchen , so he couldn’t do me a salad with my lasagna.... even though my husband got one with his meal !!! Unbelievable, we will not be returning and by the amount of bad reviews Presso have had doesn’t seem like they are at all bothered so if you want a lovely meal stay away don’t go to Presso there was one positive , the bottle of Pinot was ok but they couldn’t muck that up could they !!!

A very pretty branch with lots of space, natural light and attractive beams. It's a Prezzo so you know what to expect from the food: crowd pleasing Anglo Italian dishes. I had a couple of issues with my food nothing serious and it was dealt with swiftly and with good grace. The only niggle is that the tables are quite small for 3 or 4 people.
Had a lovely birthday meal for my daughter. We had the bank holiday special menu which was really good value for money, 2 courses for £16. Extra for dessert but good food, staff helpful and always with a smile. Kids menu a good choice and even a tots menu. This restaurant has character. I would recommend a table away from front door on cold days.
