Very busy and friendly service. Orders are taken through scanned barcode, but staff are willing to help for orders needing change. Was given pasta chips on the house that were very nice, with a little spice. Had the all the greens risotto, which was nice and a good sized meal. All in all, a quick and easy service.
I always start with three stars and increase and decrease according to each aspect of service. Premises. 5/5. Beautifully laid out. Airy, spotless and great deco. Staff; 4/5. Attentive. Friendly. Knowledgable and helpful. Not top marks as my waiter consistently changed throughout my table time. Would be good if same one stated with customer. Toilets. 5/5. Spotless. Prices; 3/5. Not the most pricey and a decent lunch offer always available. Food and drinks. 2/5. Presentation was excellent but the bolognese was heavy, something easily remedied. Coconut ice cream I would not have again either. But, on the whole, a nice experience and I would revisit.
I'm not big on Italian food but found this place to be quite a pleasant experience. Food was tasty and it had a good atmosphere with decent enough service.Food: 4/5
The service was a little slow and the pizzas tasted a little bland. It was fine for a cheap meal to fill a hole and the tables have lots of space for you to park a buggy next to you but it just didn't have a wow factor for us I'm afraid.
Went with friends for lunch disappointed thst couldn't use Tesco vouchers in Dec we all had prawns as a starter very nice I didn't eat the chilli my main was chicken Milanese chips and the carrots were horrid. I thought the menu said spinach as well. The others had pasta dishes ok the staff seemed young and not trained which was a shame. Would not use this branch again this was Haywards health. I use Hampton court which is nice
I went to my partner's Christmas Party for her company which was booked by one of her colleagues. We didn't realise that the restaurant was due to shut at 10 o'clock on a Saturday night and we had booked a table for 7 o'clock. The waiting staff did not give us any warning of the early closing time and when we had finished our main course we waited to be offered the choices for puddings and we were told that the restaurant was closing and we had to pay our bill and leave promptly at 10pm. The staff appeared to be on edge and just focused on going home. The food was OK for the price but I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Not a great experience.
We were in the Zizzi before and liked it there. Not this time, though, as we had a very disappointing experience. We had a reservation, and at arrival, we're greeted with: "Our heating is broken." Why we're we not informed per message, as we were asked twice to confirm the booking. Anyway, we decided to stay. Sitting in our jackets, we saw a free table away from our drafty table and asked if we could move, just to be very unpolitely rebuffed by the girl, which seemed to manage the restaurant. Food arrived but was cold after a short time. My sons linguine had no taste, and the Lasagne was runny. My pizza was okay. The staff looked bored and like they had no interest in their job. While still eating, the staff started to put up chairs on the tables on the other part of the restaurant, which made us feel like we had to hurry up. We left and will not be back. What a shame, as this was once a great restaurant.
Great food and Service. What let’s this place down every time is the heating is not working. 3rd time now. It makes you wonder that they turn it off to save money instead of it being ‘apparently‘ broken. It’s a shame you have to dine out whilst wearing your coat !!!
Visiting for the first time. Really enjoyed the food, what a selection, it was hard to choose, accompanied by a lovely glass of wine, and a free cheesy garlic bread, enough for four. Will come again - soon.Food: 5/5
