Nice Club. service slow to only 1 man serving. Staff all did well.
A Member of this Club and proud to say it's a wonderful Club with Facilities, Food,Drink,Entertainment. The Staff are all welcoming,pleasant,helpful. There is so much more to this Club above and beyond its wonderful Golf Course. So promote this Venue as its first class to be a Member and privilege to use its Excellent facilities.
So enjoyed the cabaret evening at the club last night. Fantastic menu from Ghillie Dhu. Food was delicious and service was great. Well done to Michael and his kitchen staff. We loved it! Also many thanks to all the hard working bar staff who kept the drink flowing.
Great course, plenty variety, greens in great condition for the time of year, along with easy walking. Clubhouse great, with a good menu and prices very good, best of all, the members are honest, I left a club at one of the early holes, but didn't notice until the 5th, it was handed in to the pro shop and I got a call to advise my club had been found.
02 June 2021. Beautiful sunny day and 21C. Quite possibly the friendliest golf club we have ever been to. Course in good condition, greens rolling nicely. No complaints, would play here again. Great option for a parkland golf course in Ayr.
Played yesterday, loved the course, greens were excellent , risk or reward or play to dogleg. Very good welcome on arrival, catering/ bar staff very very good. Would recommend this course to anyone. Left my gps on buggy, committee could not have been more helpful on its successful retrieval. Thank you Alex.
Really nice course with a a good mix of holes. Tree lined with a lot of doglegs with well placed bunkers which can lead to blind second shots. Warm welcome when we arrived and since first time we played was given a run down off where to avoid. Would play again.
Course was in fantastic condition with the greens as good as I have seen anywhere this year. Had lunch in the clubhouse with sandwiches freshly made and delicious soup. Look forward to playing there again soon.
From the minute we arrived the welcome was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The course was in great condition given the time of year and the cold winter. Having not played the course for 20+ years I was really impressed with massive improvements to virtually every hole. It kept testing us without being a slog and importantly you really were not conscious of other games on the course as the trees have matured to define the holes. I would recommend the course to anyone.
Cannot recommend this Golf Club highly enough. From being welcomed as our coach arrived in the Car Park, to the Starter on the 1st tee, the excellent choice of food throughout the day, the lovely staff on hand and not forgetting a wonderful course. We will definitely be back From all the Lads at the Columba Golf Section, Blantyre
