I came in late evening after a large show in RDS. There was a long line of people waiting for food. The owner masterfully organized the operations, food came flying out and everything worked perfectly. The food itself was good for a standard chipper and the prices fair. If you are around at night and stuck for food, I think you can be sure to get a tasty and greasy meal here.
Very disappointing experience here this evening. We ordered 3 meals 2x chicken tenders and chips, 1x fish and chips. We were asked if we wanted it all put in one bag and said yes. The supposed 3x portion of chips we were given was equivalent to what any other chipper would count as 1 portion. Paid €29 in total. Quality was also very poor. Won’t be returning here again even though we live locally. Would not recommend.
Great chipper the batter sausage was amazing the chips are cooked fresh overall experience here was lovely staff very welcoming will definitely return at my next trip to the Aviva, €14.50 for chicken fillet burger meal and large. Batter sausage and drink so it’s not over expensive.
Worth 2-3 stars at most. Dunno why it has such a high rating. The fish tastes like undercooked batter and weak chips. Some nice staff, some staff with a really bad attitude.
We had really delicious fish and chips. Freshly fried and served by a very kind chef. We will go there again definetly! A must go for every dublin visitor!
Great service, short waits, delicious and reasonably priced. Also them taco chips hit different bruh. Best chipper in the area by far
A local chipper, that's apparently popular with locals and also people passing by on the way home, we gathered. While we were there, a waiter from Slattery's bar across the road came in to see if an order for scampi and chips was ready, so business seems good. There's a standard chipper style menu, and the food is decent enough. We thought we'd go mainstream and the battered 'fresh cod' is a sizeable portion. However, rather than a tempura style or even crispy piece of cod, we got what might be described as a 'traditional' battered fish. It was heavy with flour, and didnt travel well to our hotel, ten minutes away. If at home, we'd have given it a blast in the air fryer with a spray of sunflower oil, which might have imbued it with some crispness, but we resigned ourselves to nibbling more fish, than batter. Good chips though, and they traveled reasonably well, and the portion size was good. Regarding price, it was €10.20 for one portion of fresh cod and one portion of chips, about average for Dublin.
Super kind staff and very accommodating. The food is delicious and freshly made, I can't recommend this location enough.
Meh... Why did I get the 4 in 1??? The WATERIEST one I've ever had! Burger was good though and a decent price. Would I order again? Not sure...
Taste wise the food is good but the price to portion ratio is the worst I've seen in Dublin. Scabby bag of chips.
