Took my pride and joy to Mark and Sam back in May 2020 for full underseal, including under the bonnet treatment and they had exceeded my expectations.nnI have been religiously coming back every year for a free check up and eventually a top up as well and after 5 years the original underseal is still in amazing condition, keeping rust at bay.nnCommunication throughout all these years had always been fantastic with loads of pictures to show the overall work and condition of my car.nnMark and Sam are both petrolheads and treat every car like their own with respect, regardless of how cheap or expensive your car is.nnI have recently brought my I30N to them to get it fully undersealed, this time with clear coat to maintain factory finish and I have to admit, the car looks brand new again.nnI highly recommend Preserve & Protect to everyone who wants to take care of their pride and joy. All you need to do is remember about maintenance every year, just like getting your car serviced or MOT, and everything will be sweet.
Took my Dodge Ram into the guys at P&P a month ago, Not only did they do the usual excellent undersealing and welding that you already know about if you are reading this, but they helped me get the truck MOT'd, no mean feat when its too big for most a garages. Despite delays with the other MOT garage Mark kept the truck safe inside for an extended period before it could be finished by the other garage.nnThey even welded and fabbed mud guard supports to replace the gash zip tie method the previous owner thought was a good idea when fitting larger wheels.nnThey really did take care of the truck as if it was their own, which to be honest is very rare these days. Was kept updated by Sam who is amazing at replying and assisting with any requests you may have, always helpful and always replying very quickly indeed.nnIf you want to protect your vehicle, look no further, you found the place to get it done.nnServices used: Rust Converter, Underseal, Seam Sealant, Cavity Wax, Welding, Fabrication, general awesomeness.
Had my XC70 T6 Japanese import in this week and I was not disappointed with the results and service!nFrom start to finish was nothing short of sublime!nAs a former vehicle technician i knew what was critical and had knowledge of the product dinatrol.nI received updates, progress pictures through out.nI've even to pop by every year and if anything is required it will be carried out.nThe people I spoke to were professional, reassuring, knowledgeable and accommodating.nI can't rate their service enough.nI would happily recommend!
After receiving such a poor service and handling of my recent complaint I feel it is necessary to write a review for Preserve & Protect, Johnstone.nnMy car, 2004 3 Series BMW failed her MOT June 2024 on rear offside sill corrosion.nThis was repaired and she passed her MOT.nnOn the basis of this I decided to source a company to repair any further corrosion and underseal her. She was booked in September 2024 at a substantial cost with Preserve & Protect, Johnstone.nnAt her recent MOT, 19 June 2025, she failed on significant corrosion of BOTH FRONT AND BOTH REAR SILL AREAS, the pictures speak for themselves!nI met with the owner of Preserve & Protect the same day to raise my complaint. My car was left with them overnight for inspection and the following day I returned to hear that they didn't identify the corrosion in September 2024 when the work was being carried out.....REALLY! Your website clearly states the following:nnCatering for all welding requirements, Including MOT failures.nFull welding – Fabrication service with over 30 years experience in this field.nIf your vehicle requires welding this can be carried out under the one roof at the same time as your Dinitrol Underseal.nnPreserve & Protect have given me an estimate of £1000 plus VAT to repair the corrosion plus £300 to remove the seats and carpets prior to welding. The corrosion does not appear to extend to the floor of the car so I question why this would be necessary.nA decent company would have taken ownership of their failures and put things right at NO additional cost to the customer. You have demonstrated incredible negligence in your workmanship!nnPreserve & Protect......has done neither!
Took my 2006 Golf GTI to get undersealed and within minutes of chatting with them it was very obvious that they know their stuff and I had no doubt I was leaving my car in very capable hands. Their service is fantastic, each day I received an update with multiple photos showing the underside of the car before, during and after treatment - great records to have if I ever decide to sell the car. Very friendly and good to deal with and will definitely be taking all of my future cars there. Their after sales is excellent also where they invite you to come back annually for the underseal to be inspected to ensure integrity. Would highly recommend, well worth the investment.
