I stay in premier inns all over the country with my job.This is by far the best one for a lot of reasons.The staff work as a real team..you get the feeling that they are family running a family business. Everyone is happy to help no matter what your requirements. I can't fault the staff at all.The food was cooked perfect.presented perfect. I had garlic mushroom starter followed by chicken salad.second night I had sirloin steak followed by fruit salad..perfect. I needed ice for my room to keep medication cool ...not a problem. Thanks Megan you are a star.I stayed two nights and the morning breakfast was also to a very high standard. The hotel itself is spotless as are the rooms and I noticed contractors are refurbishing the outside to a very high standard also with no disruption to guests whatsoever. Plenty of parking which is free.Also very close to train station probably 2 min walk at most.But the main thing is the staff are so friendly & you dont find that very often.I Walked through reception whilst they where having a staff meeting and you could tell they were all buzzing to be there.I wish I worked up there more often because it's a lovely place to visit & the premier inn is definitely the best place to stay.Well done to you all.Keep it up.
Great room, place very clean and breakfast excellent. Handy for both trains and buses for touring. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Hotel is in a good location near train station with plenty of parking and the rooms are comfortable and clean. What sets it apart from other Premier Inn's is the staff. We have stayed many times and they are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast service is good. The kids had treats in the room on this stay so thanks to Terri Anne and Sarah for this, a lovely surprise after a long journey.
Honestly, this inn was mediocre. Which is a shame since the one worker who helped us was very kind and welcoming. Two of us traveling together, mother and daughter, asked for a two bed room. We got a queen bed and a sort of bed-couch? Which is completely fine but it wasn’t made and there were no additional sheets. We had to ask twice for either linens to make it ourselves or for someone to come make it. The second time we asked, the lovely person at the desk came and made it themselves. Makes me think they are understaffed. Only one set of towels in the bathroom, there should be two and no wash cloths. Sink design so poor it’s difficult to get your hands under the water. Our room must be next to the pipe for water upstairs as anytime someone above us flushed the toilet, we could loudly hear the water rushing down. The walls are thin and we could hear a tv or people talking through the walls or vents. The pillows are hard as well may be a plus to some. WiFi connection is very slow. The place is clean but it just seems like the person at the “top” of this inn only cares about income. Everything seems cheaply made in the room. It’s just the little things. Gets the job done for a place to stay though without breaking the bank.
I recently stayed at this Premier Inn and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.nnThe room was spacious, clean, and had everything needed for a relaxing night. Both dinner and breakfast were great, with good variety and quality food. After a long drive, this stay was exactly what I needed—comfortable, convenient, and stress-free. Would definitely stay again!
