We stayed for a quick night after a shopping weekend before flying out. Great spot near the town centre. Plenty of parking options and only a short walk to shopping centre.nSeems like a relatively newly renovated hotel or at least some rooms are. Had a premier room. Spacious, tidy and most importantly spotlessly clean. Stand PI Thyme bar and restaurant. Limited menu and not a fantastic selections drinks however I think this may be due to demand. The bar does its job. The staff we met were friendly and polite and rather welcoming. I do think PI need to bring these smaller town locations in line with the larger city/airport locations. It seems they under staff these places. Again though this may be due to demand. All in all nice hotel would come back when in this part of the world. Thanks again Premier Inn.nPs there was a previous bad review about safety….each to their own but the place feels totally safe. Maybe it’s subjective but to call the area dangerous is rather unbelievable.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
The staff here are all brilliant. The parking is nearby and cheap.nThe rooms are great and the shower powerful. However the evening meals were very poor, only one chef ok but the food was pure bad. Breakfast was ok and poached eggs were welcomed. I would stay here again but BB only not the meal deal. Go out to eat, there are many amazing places and the train station is very close to head 15 mins into Birmingham centre.nSorry team but the kitchen lets the place down.
Hotel dirtynLifts not cleannUnsafe feel to entrancenCarpark that serves the hotel is a multistory in Lode lane. The carpark is a really dangerous place to be in my opinion.nMasked youths, graffiti, urine, lifts dirty.nThere are no other parking spaces apart from this carpark. If you have luggage it's a tough stretch from there to your actual room. Nightmare we left early couldn't bear it !nOne big positive was the guy on reception he was so helpful and friendly well done nI wouldn't stay again.
Ideal location for my needs. Rooms are good and the bed comfortable, like most Premier Inns. The breakfast is really good. The evening menu is limited, if you are spending a lot of time here. Overall a good place to stay.
