Not your usual Premier Inn standard. It's much better! Feels like premier inn have upped their game in perth somewhat. You know what you are getting with Premier Inns, clean, comfy bed and quiet. This has all that, plus looks far more stylish than the usual look and feel. Feels like a hotel with an extra star! Plus the location is perfect for anything in perth. Wish it had a real person on the front desk though!
Had an absolutely appalling experience at the Perth Premier Inn. I want to preface this with the fact that my girlfriend and I normally use Premier Inn as a first choice due to the fact that they are one of the few hotels to have multiple accessible rooms and our previous experience with staff at other locations has been fantastic. After this experience, we will now be second guessing.nnWe booked two adjoining rooms for the Sunday and Monday evening for myself, my partner, and my mother as I had a hospital procedure at PRI on the Monday. We needed to be into the rooms by 6 pm on the Sunday due to this so we arrived 5 minutes to 3 to find the person at the desk frantically moving between the kiosks telling people that many of the rooms were not yet ready. This is understandable.. Things happen. So we wait for a bit as more and more people check in and, eventually, we are able to get checked in. However, when we do so, we notice that not only are our rooms not adjoining, they're not even on the same floor. In addition, the accessible room we were given was the one with the bath instead of the wet room, which was inaccessible for myself and we had explicitly requested multiple times during our reservation over the phone and checked on multiple times previous to the day. The associate, Andrew, was both aggressive and rude, claiming that we did no such thing, that we were lying, and was sexist to the point that another patron stepped in and refuted his statements.nnLuckily, we were later able to switch rooms with the lovely couple who interjected in the interaction the accessible room they were given was also unaccessible for their needs and we were able to record the interaction for proof. However, upon contacting Customer Service, they refused to listen to the recording and just took his statement as fact, only agreeing to give a partial refund after extensive conversation with the customer service person, who was also dismissive and declined to review the further evidence we had.nnAfter this behaviour and treatment we're extremely nervous about using Premiere Inn again, which is a shame as we recommend them to everyone.
Customer service improved to almost adequate on the weekdays, but the weekend staff seemed singularly unsuited to the hospitality industry. Staring disinterestedly into the distance rather than attending to customers' needs, loudly proclaiming how bored they were, looking forward to getting customers cleared out so they could get their own free breakfast which one of them washed down with a pint of lager at 11am, doom scrolling while customers were waiting to be seated. The rooms were stuffy with no ability to open a window for fresh air. Parking is £8 per day, with no guarantee of a space. We will never return to this mismanaged establishment. Unfortunately we're booked into another Premier Inn later this holiday. Hopefully we have a better experience.
After being displaced from a massive fire in town, the council very kindly put me up in this premier inn for a while. I cannot emphasize how kind and understanding the staff were, and how comfortable the room was. The food was great and the air con hugely appreciated.nnA giant thank you to the two Emelias and the lads who helped me out, their kind words and the bag of helpful goodies they left in my room with a note will stay with me forever, and the note has been saved to eventually frame in my new place.nnWonderful place, wonderful people. Thank you again!
Typical Premier Inn room, nothing special. Self service checking for room key card, not a fan. Breakfast was good. £8 a night to park In their carpark PURE GREED.
