For me, this hotel was perfectly placed. I visited for a 2 day training course for work and the office was literally next door.nnWas about a 5 minute walk to the Trafford Centre too so was able to do a bit of early birthday shopping.nnThe room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy. Staff were professional and polite.nnThe breakfast was a standard Premier Inn affair, plenty to eat and drink.nnTook one star off service as the parking was not free, but at £6 for 48 hours not really too much to complain about.
We stayed here twice on the one trip for a few nights each. The first stint the air con in our room was not working properly and even though we talked to reception about it and they said they’d reset it or whatever, it just wasn’t good. It would turn off overnight and we’d wake up in a pool of sweat. Yes, the UK doesn’t really do air con or heatwaves for that matter, I get it, but it was a bit frustrating nonetheless. The second stint we asked for a different room they were going o put us back in the same one! and it was great, air con was perfect. The room worked for our purposes, the two of us plus our two kids. The shower and bathroom were pretty good although getting in and out of that massive bath was slightly challenging! The staff were generally excellent. The staff serving breakfast were especially awesome, making us a big plate of crispy bacon specially and seating us despite there only being a short time left for breakfast. I think Lucia was the server who went above and beyond to make us comfortable, gorgeous lady. Overall I found staying here pretty good, no complaints. I’d stay again I think.
I recently stayed at the Premier Inn West, Trafford Centre, and I was blown away by the exceptional service from start to finish. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic — friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming.nnA special mention has to go to Kane, who truly went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. As someone who travels frequently for work, it’s rare to find a team that consistently delivers such high standards of hospitality.nnThanks to the wonderful experience I had here, this location will definitely be my go-to choice for future trips. Highly recommended!
One of the best Premier Inns I've stayed in. Self service check in is available which I found quick and easy. The lobby has a modern design with different seating areas and a bar. There's a nice Guest Supplies area for extra tea/coffee, irons & boards and a vending machine. Lots of advertised drink and food deals. Breakfast was great quality with decent choices. The Premier Plus room I was in was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for what i paid. Parking was reasonable at £3 for 24 hours. Trafford Centre only a walk across the road junction.
The rooms was fine, although there were lots of brown stains nothing sinister on the carpet. However the food was terrible. When I arrived I was told that today they had a new menu and that it was a great time to book a meal... well, how wrong were they! The food was poorly prepared and shouldn't have left the kitchen as it did. I initially ordered the chicken skewers with flat bread, the bread was rock solid, completely stale and inedible, the 'two skewers' were an insult - 4 tiny thumbnail sized bits of chicken on each skewers, utterly pointless to stretch that over two small wooden skewers given it wouldn't even come close to filling up one skewer. The music coming from the kitchen was also disturbingly loud and bled into the dining room, as did the chefs 'singing'. There is nothing that can be recommended about the food. The 'new menu' needs a very quick re-think. Its a shame as the dining room is a nice place to sit, and the rooms are fine, but the food and the quality of the cook is such that I will not be returning. The meal I ordered after sending back the skewers was also mediocre at best and came out wrong too... it took a further 30 minutes to come out and was very obvious zero care was taken in its preparation. I absolutely do not expect Michelin star food, but I do expect edible food, and it would be generous to call this food edible. If you're staying at this premier inn, do yourself a favour a walk 5 minutes to the Trafford centre where there's food that you don't need to send back. I'll give the service 4 star as the waiter was apologetic and attentive. He did his job, the chef did not.
