My wife and I stayed at this hotel in February 24 for a week, the hotel could not be any closer to the main eateries and pubs in Hereford! The location is excellent, the area is quiet and there’s plenty of parking space.nThe room was fine, clean and had a bath, a shower etc the only downside was that we don’t like these modern open wardrobes, and really not enough storage space for our clothes, but when all said and done it is a hotel.nA definite upside to the stay was the staff, everyone extremely friendly and helpful , especially Eden, she was great, couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was good. Offering advice on where to go regarding the food and drink aspect. She was great, we appreciate all that she did for us, premier inn can be proud of her and indeed her colleagues
You usually know what you're getting at a premier Inn. Decent pub food, affordable drinks, safe parking and nice staff. Most of that was true at this premier Inn. The Guiness was flat, items forgotten from the food order, breakfast wasn't self-service so you couldn't just keep going without feeling guilty and we needed to pay for the parking. The staff were nice though, very well situated and the room was clean.nEat out and you shouldn't have any problem here
Currently staying here, check in smooth and efficient, room comfortable and clean. We have just taken advantage of the meal deal offer, our waitress Amy was super efficient, friendly and totally professional throughout, going the extra mile to provide us with extra milk for our room. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, thanks for a great stay!
Rooms adequately clean though corners of bathroom were left out; I AM fussy though. Beds were comfy. Quiet room. Room too hot. On the morning of 24/12/23 we all had breakfast which was tasty. The lady running it seemed super stressed and rushed off her feet which I am sympathetic about. However her stress made me stressed. She was short with customers, quickly rattled off choices, sighed and tutted, just pointed quickly when asked where something was and was actually abit brutal to a young male waiter who possibly had less experience, but certainly had a better attitude. Sorry, but for me a pleasant manner is so important. I have been a waitress myself back in the day and despite being super stressed and busy know that a smile can make a real difference to someone's experience. Maybe some customer service training is required and naturally more staff to limit this behaviour.
Can't beat a Premier Inn.You know what your getting every time. No complaints, except there was no orange juice at breakfast, instead some oversweet tropical drink that we couldn't finish, and looking round, neither could the rest of the guests.
