Functional and affordable. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. It had been refurbished reasonably recently. All fine apart from the towels left on the back of the bathroom door from previous guests. Wifi did not work and when I asked reception I was told it had not been working all weekend, and no solution was offered. Mobile connectivity was poor in our room so we struggled with connectivity.nnWe arranged for a travel cot in our room, which was provided, and yet we were given a room on the first floor. Despite this being a modern building, there is no lift. When the receptionist saw us approach with a pushchair she explained that we'd been given a room on the first floor, but could not offer anything on the ground floor despite the hotel being mostly unoccupied.nnThe hotel is tucked away behind a large pub which has now closed. This makes it a very strange layout for a Premier Inn. The derelict pub building is used for the hotel's restaurant. The dinner menu is basic but fine. The bar has nothing on tap, just cans and bottles. The breakfast is good. Most staff we interacted with were polite and friendly.nnDo not be fooled by the 'central' in the hotel's name.
Great place to go to for a quick weekend to London stayed overnight nothing to say very comfy. We booked three rooms one of them had a blown out lightbulb but nothing that could be fixed by turning on the side lights. Great service and very welcoming team especially with Col.
I believe that the quality of the hotel is dropping because the size of the new dining area! Approximately sixty rooms using a dining area that is the size of three bedrooms! Madness!nYou cannot regulate dining times for guests! Apart from the helpful staff this place will rapidly become just a basic b&b!nOnce again exemplary help from staff Clo I hope you can maintain your amazing staff!
Stayed here early November, really easy to access from main A2 road. Set slightly off the main Wrotham road to Gravesend so you get a peaceful nights sleep! Rooms were decent size, the opening window is a bonus nowadays! Breakfast in the ‘old Beefeater’ was spot on, both Kelsa and Clo served customers brilliantly, very attentive and friendly! Would highly recommend
Lacklustre reception and an adjoining 'restaurant' serving a very limited menu, which may only inspire teenagers on a limited palette.nnWifi did not work on arrival, but has been reset. So it works. For now. Can't wait for breakfast...nnAt this stage I would say that the only redeeming feature is the hotel's locality. Oh, and it's quiet.nnUpdate: Yes, the breakfast service didn't disappoint. The basic stuff is there, BUT CLEARING AWAY MY UNFINISHED COFFEE is a new low. I've down rated my experience. Short of swearing, I'd say this was a **** poor experience overall. I'm also unsure as to why my room is the temperature of Satan's armpit?nnI don't know if the housekeeping team work weekends, but the carpet ways on the ground floor are not screaming cleaned.nnCome on Premier Inn, you're better than this.
