Well located for the Dockside regeneration area.nRooms as you would expect. I booked 3 for my party of six, so all were Twin.n316 lacked the following which was disappointing: 1 hand towel between 2, 1 mug between 2, no spoon/coffee/tea/milk we had to make an early morning visit to reception for these.nOver the course of two nights the room card keys for our three rooms failed five times in total. An inconvenience, particularly late at night.
Stayed for a rugby match. Well priced considering the location. Room spotless.nBiggest gripe is the breakfast@ £10-99 Bloody awful. It’s a self service full English at a hotplate. Everything was dripping in oil and hardly cooked. There was never a full choice as the cook couldn’t batch cook all the elements at the same time. Not great given the price , it was almost like the chef was surprised people were coming to eat. Don’t waste your money, eat somewhere else in the Quays.
We stayed in the Premier Plus room 517 for 2 nights 20 & 21 April 25. The air-conditioning wall controls were damaged and didn't allow us to fully operate the air-conditioning unit. As well it kept turning off itself. We complained to the receptionist about that and other issues in the room and she reassured us that in this instance she will operate our air-conditioning and we need not to touch it. Do I need to say - it didn't work. So in 0.5 hour we were back to the reception...To cut the long story short - it didn't work properly during the whole our stay there. This fact was confirmed by the hotel's maintenance man on 20th April. Really disappointing for the premium rate we paid for the room. The staff need to be trained better on how to deal with this kind of problems and to keep customers happy.
We stayed in a Premier plus room on top floor and can genuinely say that this was the best premier inn room we have ever stayed in. It had a fridge coffee machine, bottle of water each and a little Green&Blacks chocolate The view from our room was good, river view.On arrival, the lady on reception was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location for the quays and city centre. Will definitely return in the near future!
I’ve stayed in over 10 Premier Inn hotels in the past year, and I can confidently say that Craig is the best kitchen chef I’ve come across. The breakfast he prepares is consistently excellent—scrambled eggs are always spot on, hash browns cooked perfectly, and everything is fresh and delicious.nnWhat’s even more impressive is his punctuality. When Craig is in the kitchen, all the food is ready at 6:30 am sharp, which is very important for me as I only have 10 minutes to eat before heading out. It’s clear he has incredible cooking talent and a strong work ethic. Kudos to Craig for making my mornings better!
