Not bad for a stopover, but you probably wouldn't want an extended stay. Staff were very friendly, but the rooms are bland, and outside our window the weak attempt at encouraging a few plants was completely ruined by the plastic bag and assorted rubbish tangled up in it. Honestly, it would only take someone half an hour to clear it up.nBed was comfortable, if you like your mattress hard I do.nThe eating area is a bit airport-lounge like, but the food was ok, if limited to the usual stuff with fries, pizza, etc. Breakfast was also fine.
We stay in the Premier Inn in Hamilton whenever we travel down from the North of Scotland, it’s almost like our second home. It’s in a great location, perfect for nipping into Glasgow on the M74 15 mins outside of rush hour or to the Strathclyde Park, Chatelherault, the Clyde Valley and New Lanark for lunch and some scenic walks along the Clyde walkway by the Clyde Falls. Edinburgh isn’t too far either…there’s tons to do in the surrounding area and it’s a trip down memory lane for us every time we stay as we’re originally from Lanarkshire. The Hotel is recently built, fresh and modern inside and the family rooms that we go for are a great size for the 4 of us. We are well in to double figures in the number of times we’ve stayed here and on every occasion the room has been immaculately clean and the breakfast in the connected Beefeater has been delicious. It’s also the quietest Premier Inn we’ve stayed in, there’s zero noise and the beds are extremely comfortable, we always have a great sleep here. We’ve just checked in again 2nd time in 2 weeks! and had our usual warm welcome from the reception staff who we’ve come to know quite well because we stay so often. They are undoubtedly the hotel’s ace card as every member of staff is warm and friendly and couldn’t be more helpful…genuine, nice people who go out their way to make us feel welcome, we are very grateful for Premier Inn Hamilton…thank you and keep up the good work!
Clean and efficient. Breakfast is awesome. Staff are pleasant and professional. Wish they would have more varity of tea bags in the room, particularly lime and ginger. They simply offer English breakfast teabags in the room tray.
Fantastic Service and Great Stay!nnI had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, but the highlight was the fantastic service provided by the girl at reception, Donia. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly helpful and welcoming.nnI came down a couple of times to ask questions, and each time, Donia was there, answering all my queries with a smile. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made my stay even more enjoyable.nnI’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this hotel for the exceptional service!
We always book here when visiting Glasgow! Had one minor hiccup the TV froze but quick visit to reception and theh disconnected TV from the mains in room and reset it! Can not fault!
