The hotel is pretty new, and service is good. Rooms are nice as always in Premier Inn, restaurant and breakfast also as expected, good. The only thing I don't like is that the windows in the room are not opening. It was cold outside, but didn't have the best night sleep because it was to warm in the room. Tried the airco but didn't work. If the windows were opening, it was 5 out of 5 stars. Fresh air is important in the room.
We paid for a Premium Room for the extra space and what a difference it made. We had stayed at another hotel the night before on our way down south and really didn't enjoy the experience. On arrival to the Premier Inn, we were early for check in so had lunch in the restaurant. Excellent fast service. Then checked in and although that service was slow due to technical issues the staff were so lovely. Our room on the 2nd floor was amazing, sound proof, couldn't hear outside the windows. Modern with a waterfall shower, honestly a blessing after 7 hours driving. THE COMFIEST PILLOWS I'VE EVER HAD ON A BED. Extremely comfy bed with aircon that kept us comfortable all night.nBreakfast the next morning was fab even a little busy but it is a Sunday in half term. Plenty of options and you can ask chef if you have dietary requirements for something specific if needed. Excellent service again.nnOne of the lifts didn't work which did create a little issue when busy but nothing a few minutes waiting didn't fix.
We stopped here on Monday night as unexpectedly needed a room for the night for me and my two kids.nnI had not stayed in a premier inn for ages. Overall super impressed, it was good value and kids ate free for breakfast also the staff were Excellent which is a rarity. They were all friendly, helpful and happy. Their manager must be doing a good job.nnThe hotel was in a great location and room was great condition with soft beds.
Warm friendly reception, ample parking, free. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were also clean and comfortable. Shower and WC, all clean.nThe air conditioning worked and was controllable using the digital touch screen in the room. I got a great nights sleep with no distractions a difference to my stay at Dudley PI, where the reception controlled the air con, so you had to ask the staff to adjust? if cold or too hot, each time asking the reception to adjust.nNot the staffs fault, poor focus by HO to ensure the customer is at the height of comfort always. Probably due to it being 10 years old and needing some TLC.nAll quite different here though, the staff and rooms were good, breakfast was served hot, poached eggs by Nikki, cheers and Hannah Manager, all great service. Would definitely stay here again. Top marks.
Really lovely staff, especially the lady who seated us at breakfast. Rooms seem fairly newly decorated though not sure how thoroughly vacuumed they are as there were a few sweets on the ground. Main issue was the very poor signal on the free WiFi. Breakfast was nice; good selection and freshly cooked though the coffee machine was broken.
