Great place for travelling for work and easy to get into the city as the tram stop is just outside. Train service is also available and again stops outside. Easy to get to from the airport. Rooms clean and comfortable, easy check in and lovely restaurant.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel is a great and affordable. The rooms are very big with plenty of space for families. Very clean and staff were very helpful. The car parking is free so long as you are a hotel guest. The train tram station is pretty much outside the front door of the hotel. At the time the train was very cheap and reliable to get into Edinburgh city centre within 20 minutes or a little less. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is very well located - literally just over the road from the train station and tram stops with a retail park beyond that where you can pick up groceries etc. The rooms were maintained and cleaned to a good standard. The breakfast however wasn’t great - £11.99 and most of it is cold even though it’s supposed to be hot - staff were also rather aloof and disinterested - not strictly rude but at the same time not overly welcoming. I’d stay there again though but probably go into the city to get a better breakfast! Rooms: Well maintained and clean Nearby activities: Nothing on the door step but 5 minutes on the train and you are in Edinburgh with all of its attractions. Safety: The area felt perfectly safe and was well lit. Walkability: Across the road from Edinburgh Park station and tram stop however not walkable to city centre or airport. Food & drinks: On site restaurant but it is pricy and not that good on the quality front. Also a Costa Coffee outlet next door.
Great place to stay if you don't want to stay directly in the centre. Easy to access by car, train station right outside with regular trains into the city centre. The tram is also located right outside too. Free parking for hotel residents. Close the airport. Our go to when staying in Edinburgh when driving. Rooms: Rooms - you always know what you're getting with a premier inn room. Never disappointed Noteworthy details: Very friendly reception staff. Train station and tram stop right outside. Great value for money
This hotel is a great location for the airport or Edinburgh centre, has station just across the road for tram, train and buses which are passing often. The hotel is nice and quiet, with no traffic noise while we stayed. The restaurant/bar / breakfast area was nice, bright, and clean. Good food and drink. Staff were spot on for any enquiries or problems. Rooms were spacious and clean with aircon. We will definitely use this hotel again when visiting edingburgh.
We were in one of the premier plus rooms despite not booking one which was nice. If you are looking for an amazing view, this is not the place for you but it has everything you could want for a hotel close to the airport. The room had a fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle/tea tray, iron and hair dryer. The bed was comfortable and the room was just about spotless. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Free car park for customers during their stay enter your reg at check in or £10 per day. There is a Costa coffee and a restaurant downstairs. There are also vending machines with drinks and snacks in reception. Less than a 2 minute walk to the train station and tram station for the airport or into the city centre. Around about a 10 minute drive to the airport depending on the time of day. Only faults were the WiFi having problems and the bathroom extractor room 305 didn't work so during our stay we had to keep mopping up the window sill and noticed black mould starting to form on the silicone. We would happily book this hotel again if we are flying out of Edinburgh. Rooms: Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Walkability: The hotel is down some kind of retail/industrial estate near to transport links for the city centre and airport. Google comes up with about 1 hour 30 min walk to the airport. Tram tickets are £2 for a single adult from the pink ticket machine at the tram stop. The tram and train station are less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel front door. Food & drinks: The hotel has a Costa coffee, Thyme restaurant and vending machines. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room.
Does seem a little stuck out in the middle of nowhere, but I quite liked that, as it was nice and quiet without traffic noise. There was a notice in reception when booking in that there was currently no WiFi, due to ongoing problems. That was quite annoying, as my husband was there for work, so it meant him having to use his mobile data for work calls etc. Surely for anyone booked in, an email should have been sent out, informing them that the WiFi was down.
Rooms are shabby but clean, strong drain smell in the room, but reception dealt with this quickly. Very noisy, I think the people above our rooms were practising for the marathon. Vending machines chaotic, some prices non existent or fallen off, chocolate or crisps, I can't eat either. soft drink machines not working. No biscuits in the room, needed something to take tablets with. Booked 3 rooms together, each room in seperate floor
We recently stayed at this Premier Inn and were thoroughly impressed with the comfort of their rooms. The beds were cozy, and the overall ambiance was welcoming. Additionally, the English and Continental breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of options. However the breakfast was slightly costlier than the one we booked at premier inn Bristol . Overall the location of this property was very convenient-located right opposite train and tram station. We faced problems with their internet though for one night. It wasn't working at all.
The hotel is in a great location, just a couple minutes from from the tram stop and railway station. By tram the city centre is approximately 15/ 20mins away and there is a 7 to 10min service. Very friendly staff, super easy self check in, the room was very comfortable and clean, very quite and peaceful with no noise from the nearby train station. Had a great stay and was very relaxing would definitely recommend. Rooms: Very comfortable, clean and quite, good heating and required at the start of December. Nearby activities: City Centre located 15/20mins away by tram Safety: Location felt safe and secure, well lit Walkability: Location couple minutes from a tram stop and railway station
