A one night stay when we went to see Travis at the Winter Garden. Overall fine.nnPluses:nLocation excellent, breakfast excellent - cooked to order and to a very high standard. Great job chef!nMinuses:nRoom was smelly on arrival, only the double bed was made up in the family room, and 1 set of towels.
A clean, comfortable, air conditioned hotel ideally located for the train station, shops, and seafront. Reasonably priced off-season. Hotel is quiet internally, but there is some eternal noise from local pubs and clubs at night - ask for a room round the side or rear if this will be an issue for you.
Had a nice quiet room for 2 on the top floor prior to leaving at 6am to ride the South Downs Way. Allowed to leave bikes in room, which is a bonus. Unfortunately breakfast didn't start until 6:30, but we knew that before and can't really expect any earlier would be nice, though, even if only cold buffet style.
The morning and afternoon staff were great, they would make conversation with you as you enter, however the evening crew didn't really acknowledge you were too busy looking at the computer at the front desk
I had paid £196 for one night and it wasn’t worthy at all.nRoom carpets were soo bad I was unable to walk on greasy carpets.nToilets had mold in there. I spend a lot of money, just wanted to make my kids happy but it wasn’t good enough for my kids.nThanks to the technology, I am sure they are removing their honest reviews.
