Our second time here and another wonderful stay. From the moment you walk in, staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy and have everything you need. Any issues soon seen to. Big thank you to Daniel on reception who quickly resolved an issue with the TV and was extremely polite and helpful. The food was delicious and great prices. Well done to the chefs.Definitely stay again.
Great location, great friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Big thanks to Chloe for assisting with extending my booking and keeping me in the same room, above and beyond. When working in and around Derby this is my first choice Premier Inn for the week away from family and home, just very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy with your welcoming Premier Inn Bed. Really busy Premier Inn at times, so always better to book your table at the restaurant, It also helps the staff manage the restaurant easier. Just a pleasure to stay at this Premier Inn. Rooms: Excellent standard, clean and tidy with the always comfortable Premier Inn Bed. Food & drinks: Great restaurant staff, for one of the busiest Premier Inn hotels I have stay in. Always smiling, happy and helpful. Food always excellent standard. It helps the staff if you book a table as can be really busy at peak times. Nice little bar plenty of choice. Noteworthy details: Staff are so genuine and helpful, you need only ask. Big thank you to Chloe, Thomas and Simon, made my stay stress free and enjoyable from the 3 day booking extended to 5 days and the staff managed to do their magic and keep in my original room. Big shout out to the restaurant great standard of food served every time. Pooched eggs in the morning on order, not a problem. Will without doubt return to stay again. Hopefully soon.
Great location next to pride park. Wasn't busy at all when we went and we walked to the derbion down the side of the river. We used Franky and Benny's and the harvester which was close by. As it was nice we walked everywhere. Great location. Obviously would have been different if a football match was on but as it was over it was peaceful and clean and tidy. Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortable no noises or distractions. Black out curtains. Comfy beds. Modern TV. Kettle and drinks selection. Refills available from reception. Food & drinks: Food and drinks were good at breakfast and we had plenty to fill us up before starting our day.
It is a well priced hotel, although it was a little bit run down for a Premier Inn. The staff were brilliant, and breakfast was fine. I didn't fancy anything on the dinner menu, even though there were a few options. It was a little disappointing to find a fully grown spider in my room, which suggests it may have been camping out there for some time and it would have been nice to have an iron and ironing board in the room. Overall, I would say it was good value for money, even with the issues.
Finding the hotel was easy and so was checking in. We'll set up lovely room very clean. Great shower and facilties. A very good price and plenty of parking. When traveling its a good spot, can recomend I stayed 2 nights to go and see the Dale's. This is only a stop over not nr shops etc. Rooms: Very clean everything up to a good standard had super shower.
I had an excellent stay here recently. There are a few recent negative reviews - particularly about the hotel looking 'tired' or poor service, but this certainly wasn't the experience I had. The rooms are in good shape, clean, and sizeable for the price. Though there's no plug socket near the bedside tables, there's a standard USB socket which may help for those wishing to charge their phones overnight. The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. Noise does travel between rooms quite easily at this hotel, however given its location, it's evident that most people who come here travel for business, so you'll find most other guests settle down pretty early and aren't coming back drunk at 3am like at city hotels! I was able to get an excellent night's sleep albeit I use earplugs too. I had dinner at the hotel too, opting for the fish and chips. I wasn't totally sure what to expect from a Premier Inn, but the fish was massive. Plenty of food and really good quality too. So glad I dined at the hotel - convenience and quality. I felt I had a really welcome stay at the Premier Inn and look forward to coming back here in the future!
Hotel was lovely, nice to go to a premier inn where you can open the windows. Unfortunately service for food wasn't as good. Wait for oder to be taken even when not busy wasn't idea. Also when main meal was finished, had to ask for plate to be taken away and dessert to be brought, Such a shame, could understand when busy buy when not and quiet, cannot understand why tables can't be cleared
The lift was out of order on arrival. And reviews from 4 months previous said the same. The room had a strange smell even after they cleaned, the food was good but they ran out of everything after 3 days of my 7 night stay, location is acceptable for Nottingham and derby Rooms: I would recommend the top floor as there was alot of noise from the floor above, all night for 4 nights of my stay.
Comfortable room and quite clean, the wifi is super slow and signal connection wasn’t great, but other than that, everything else was okayRooms: 4/5
We have stayed here 4 times now abdvwere quietbsirprised at a few thing during our 1 night stay. Lift not working on arrival. Not informed before arrival that it was under maintenance so anyone who cant walk upstairs would be stuck. Breakfast the next day was interesting as NO toasters worked and kitchen staff had to make toast, had to ask for a few items to be restocked as no-one was keeping an eye on items to be restocked. Rooms are lovely, but passageway to rooms is starting to look a bit tired. Rooms: As mentioned above.
