Perfect seafront location . Cookhouse was good for breakfast and made perfect poached eggs . Only issue for us was the windows did not open making the room a little claustrophobic I totally understand as there was air conditioning but still think they should open slightly like some other premier inns. Great for parking which was free to hotel guests . Standard premier inn rooms clean and comfortable
From the moment we arrived the staff have been amazing. They were brilliant at check in and so helpful. The evening staff have been amazing and so helpful. Would like to thank Jayne as she went above and beyond to help myself whilst I was there. Rooms were so clean and had plenty of tea and coffee in arrival. Definitely would stay here again
Don’t use the kiosk on arrival- ask Reception to book you in. We registered our car on the machine and have got 2 parking tickets to sort out! And the Machine gave us worst room which we had to change. And when we paid for dinner/breakfast on the machine - it didn’t book us a table - so ended up with no view!nOtherwise as good as usual.
Location spot on. Staff really lovely, Ben especially. Rooms are a good size and clean, a little tired in places. Big bleach splashes on carpet near the bathroom. Carpet could do with a clean as could the majority of the seating in the bar and restaurant.nI had an accessible room, which was a lovely size but could benefit from a couple of improvements to my mind. Some kind of bar/bedframe to help get in and out of bed. I use an easily removable frame that fits under the mattress. The name evades me. The bed was low, but on later reading post stay, I could have asked for it raising, worth remembering.nThere was no decaf tea or coffee in the restaurant which was a problem for two of our party. Luckily I brought tea bags and got instant sachets from the re-stock station in reception.nThe key cards are a nightmare! We changed ours 11 times as refused to work. They definitely need an upgrade or indeed downgrade to old fashioned keys.nWe had a lovely mini break and will go again. Hopefully, my observations will be rectified by then.
Comfy bed and very clean room, excellent food in Cookhouse plus pub, lift to upper floor rooms, very helpful friendly staff. Free parking.nAccess right onto promenade and beach which was ideal, especially good for wheelchair users.
