a lovely humble meal here and it was my birthday. I'm now 31 years old and this was an evening to remember. I got an email for a free 2-course meal, so I took my sister as we love the festival menu for the burger or Christmas Dinner. the dessert was lovely but could have been more Christmas-like. overall amazing food and a location with good views of the sea and workmen.
Brilliant team, giving a great service. Good quality food for a reasonable price . Went for a family birthday which was a large group of 18. They were very accommodating. It was a really great experience.
We Really enjoyed our meal here. Rebecca our server was so lovely. Polite and professional. Nothing was a bother. We Loved it. It has a great atmosphere. Not stuffy or noisy. We will be back !! The Premier Inn Torquay was a pleasant surprise set in a former hotel and brilliant location close to the beach. Arrival about midday as parking limited. Pay on departure with voucher from reception. Excellent value for money on Premier plus rooms spacious rooms nicely decorated with dual aspect view of beach and marina. Eat in Beafeater attached to hotel again nice setting and good meals. Service excellent. Only stayed for 2 nights wish we had stayed longer. Weather not so good but still an enjoyable stay.
It was very warm inside, a bit too warm to be honest. The chicken starter was poor, a bit over cooked and 4 small pieces, squid was a bit better. Main courses the fillet stake was OK, but the prawn add on was dry an overcooked, and the onion rings were soggy. The rib grill was better and the saved the day, she really liked the dirty mac and cheese in it.
Could really do better with food quality especially considering it's surrounded by so many competitions. Can't beat the convenience of it if you're staying in the Premier Inn though, and cannot fault the super friendly service
I was staying at the premier Inn and was offered the 2 course deal drink and breakfast deal. Great service at the Premier Inn. However the staff at the bar did know what was in the deal, I didn't mind as he advised he was new. The burger looks nothing like the picture in the menu and the coleslaw is obviously a cheap addition. I then waited 45 mins for my dessert to arrive after asking twice where it was. It was barely warm, it so lucky I don't mind a skin on custard. No real apology offered by the person I presume to be shift manager. I stay here regularly for work and doubt I will have an evening meal again.
Very enjoyable visit, good food and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was Loiuse who was professional and friendly. We will definitely return.
Excellent Sunday roast, if you are greedy like me go for the mixed where you get chicken lamb and beef! Definitely get your money's worth. Staff very friendly good range of dessertsFood: 5/5
I’ve had nothing but positive experience here! I cant explain it but it’s like being on holiday, especially if the sun is shining and there’s music on. There was a guy in 2019 playing reggae and the environment was so good! We go every time we visit Torquay and I cannot fault the food, environment and service. The service is fast, food always nice and a big menu with lots of options. This is banging with the sun blaring down and a cold bevvy m8
